Skyrim Vanilla Sound Issues

Okay my Skyrim was perfectly fine this afternoon but when I played it this evening something went wrong. I can't hear the vanilla sounds being played only the sound mods I've installed. I can't hear my weapons being equipped/unequipped nor can I hear a sound while drawing. The npcs doesn't speak anything and when I went o fight some draugrs and dragons, there's no sound. I've tried every possible way to fix these. I reinstalled skyrim to vanilla but I there's still no sound. I also went to install direct x and still can't fix it.

 

Can somebody help??

Verify your steam cache, sounds like your Skyrim Sounds.bsa is corrupt.

 

Load order shouldn't be a issue hear as vanilla sounds should still work even with mods installed. Do you hear vanilla sounds with all mods disabled and what mods have you installed since the last time you heard sounds?

I already verified my game cache and no errors were found. After turning off all my mods I can't hear a single thing and I haven't installed any mods since. Last time I was doing was tinkering through game and mod ini's, I'm going through every .ini file to see which may have caused this to happen.

Oh ok. Thanks for the help! Really appreciate it. I think reinstalling my skyrim was also a great move. It cleaned my game folder and now my skyrim runs smoother than before. The only downside was I lost most of my mods that I manually installed.
