SOLVED: invisible weapon (dagger, sword)

Anyone know how I can make a dagger/sword not have any mesh or go invisible?  Just need it so when my combatants follow me they aren't holding an obvious sword.  I haven't found a mod on nexus.  Thanks

Nethers follower framework let's you do this in the mcn, you can hide weapons and shields while not in combat.

I think if you only have the option to tell them to follow you, but not for like a combatant role.  And if you hide their weapon, they start the fisting stance.  I wonder if I can just delete the mesh.

Not deleting but replacing it with an invisible one.

When you go to their mesh folder, but the weapon would always be invisible then.

And no, that's normally not how nethers does it, when they are recruted their weapons should reappear when in combat (or I understood you wrong.)

Just load the nif for the weapon in NifSkope and set the Alpha-value to 0 (see picture). 1.0 is a solid object and 0.0 is invisible, everything in-between becomes more or less see-through like glass.

Sorry been away. I tried nifskope before but I'm still new at it, it confuses me a little. I'll try it later. Thanks
