Pretty small thing, but lore wise, it is stated that X-Change is outlawed federally "due to the federal passage of Proposition 12".

There are no federal ballot measures, only state ones. The only way to outlaw something federally, unless done through a rule change under an existing law, is through the passage of a new law. 

 

A legally correct way would be to state it as "due to the federal passage of the Anti-X-Change Act". You would want to, of course, make a more creative name then that.

Very minor, but it broke immersion a little for me :3
Last I played was about a year ago, and there's already so many additions to the game. Great progress!

Can I see my maximum character stats (like strength, charm and int) somewhere?

I believe I bought a cap increase for one of them at Mutatio's but the game wont tell me about it. Do I have it or not?

 

I got the Casanova compulsion. Oh no! It's a good incentive to check out the pill-side of things. So I did and my masculinity is now 55. It says to decrease masc. to or below 65 and the compulsion goes away. It's still here. Does it take a while?

Something odd I've noticed is that the game seems to run slower on bigger monitors. I ahve a 1080p and 4k monitor. When I have the game open on my smaller monitor it runs fairly well, but if I move it on to my 4K one it gets really laggy. It's not a file loading thing since I can test it just by going in to the settings and trying to scroll down. I'm not sure if it's from a UI element that was added recently since I used to play on my bigger monitor without any problems before.

 

On a similar topic the minigames where you have to spot the word on a picture seems really buggy/laggy. I've had multiple occasions where the word just doesn't spawn in before the photo blurs again. It makes doing those minigames either luck based or purely impossible.

my response is really late, you probably solved the problem long ago, but for anyone who has this problem (which is most probably savegame bloat from too much information or bad coding) I would suggest removing unessential mods and starting a new playthrough.

I'm having issues getting past the identity crisis minigame. Sometimes it works with no issues, but other times no word appears, and other times the girl only appears for a second before vanishing. Is this normal or is something possibly bugged?? I am playing the 'easy' version of the minigame.

Actually I just ran into a similar issue. Are you running the PDA mod? cause as soon as I entered text into the PDA and saved it (shows up on the right third of the screen) the game started lagging horribly. when I removed the text everything worked great again.

I'm not using the PDA mod. It could be plausable another mod is doing something though, however I couldn't be certain which.

Hey quick question... any idea why all of a sudden all my saves keep disappearing? It started two days ago after working perfectly fine for more than a month. Now, since this week, my savegames delete themselves with every start of my pc.

My only idea is that something must delete your browser cookies. The savefiles for browser based games usually are deleted by that as well. Did you change a setting there or install something that may be doing that? Maybe it was an automatic update. You should definitely check, if your cookies are removed.

Im running into a lot of issues with a modded playthrough, is it possible that i just need to wait until more mods are updated to .23 or are mods generally backwards compatible??

 

issues such as gifs failing to display, buttons missing essentially locking you in place, endless sex scenes where npc arousal (mainly in bar backroom) where arousal meter fails to increase after 30+ skill checks etc..

 

no conflicts or errors when loading mods in manager.

 

Great game though, always fun to come back every update and start a new character, first time trying mods

The mods are often not upwards compatible.

I am not a modder, but I've played the game with and without mods for years by now. If there is one thing I learned, it's that it is almost always causing some problems, keeping tons of mods installed that have not been updated to the current game version. These can be minor or they can completely break the game. That heavily depends on the mods an what has been changed in the game. 

Since version 0.23 changed quite a bit of how the base game does things, there are likely a lot of mods creating problems now, if they are not updated. Right now, I am still holding back on playing, because of this - even though I am really excited about some of the changes and additions. And I am looking forwad to finally have working dynamic background colors again.^^

My suggestion for playing with a lot of mods now: stick to 0.22 and make sure not to install the 0.23 updates of the mods. If you can't wait to try the new features you will probably have to play unmodded or with the few mods that already work. Some will likely never get updated, since they are not maintained anymore. But that is the nature of modding a game in development.

I'm currently testing to see if Dredd intimacy works or not despite it not being updated. So far some of the the interactions work like going to Dredd's office and being able to peek on girls getting fucked but I can't seem to get Adriana to show up.

I think that would be hilarious and fun. Turn it into and arms race of who can knock the other one up first. Maybe even slip Frank one of his ready maid pills and knock him up too.

Hello, wasn't sure where exactly to ask this, so I apologize in advance. I seem to remember a mod that would imply the stepdad would accrue gambling debt, and if the player couldn't pay it off they would be compelled to take a pill and go on a date with one of his gambling buddies. I thought it was the Harder Exits mod but I'm not so sure. Can't check of course because the mod is very out of date now and not compatible, but I'm not sure if it was that mod.

Found it on the wiki.  Drag "tions" in "Options" into the list (it'll play the "ooooh my god" clip and pop up a notificaiton), then go back and find "Mod Options"

First  if you use the patch instead of the full download how do you install it to the rest of the game. 2nd i am getting this  especially the i can't run the macro because purple does not exist. and yes i got the current purple mods loaded.
