What would that actually do?  Like, One NPC moves into the home of the other?

Well it is just not lore accuret that only you can marry an npc

It isn't realistic that you just assign someone to marry, either.

 

To put this a different way: Why should someone spend dozens of hours making this for you?  What does it add to the game that is worth that time investment?

You haven't explained what it would do if it did exist.

 

As far as I know, it doesn't exist.  It probably won't ever exist, because it doesn't actually do anything.
