How do I install mods, new to this.

As the title says, I am new to modding stellaris, and I have no idea what im doing, if anyone can  help teach me on what to do, I would truly be thankful.

Step 1: Download and unzip the mod.

Step 2: Go to C:\Users\#USERNAME#\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\mod (if the mod folder is not there make one)

Step 3: Inside the mod that you downloaded and unzipped there will be a folder and a .mod file, place both in the mod folder indicated above.

Step 4: The mods should now show up in the stellaris launcher and can be activated as normal

HIGHLY recommend "Irony Mod Manager" I've had very little problems with it. super easy to fix mod issues and such too.

Also don't unzip mods to the mod folder. unzip/decompress them to a folder on the desktop then drag the contents into the mod folder.

 

If you're having issues with mods not showing up despite having them installed correctly, this method seems to work and I have no idea why, it just works. At least for me.
