Delite Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 I can't understand what I'm doing wrong. I'm trying to change armor type from "clothing" to "light armor". I've done all required actions in TES5Edit, but the game still things that this is clothing, not light armor. Here is what I've done in TES5Edit: 1. Armor Type has been changed to Light Armor. 2. Keywords has been changed. 3. Armor Rating has been changed from 0 to 44. 4. And also I've used xEdit script "Make Temperable" in order to, well, make armor temperable: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/8012 I don't know if this is important, but the clothing is a part of a merge created by zMerge.

You're right, you don't and I have no idea why this doesn't work for you as I just did the same as you did, same armour mod, minus adding the material to the keywords and it worked fine. Albeit in LE not SE but I can't see that would make any difference for this. Edit: The only way I got this to fail was to save the changes in xEdit but leave it open when running Skyrim to check. Moment I closed xEdit and loaded Skyrim the item was changed to Light Armour. Edited January 24, 2023 by Mez558
Delite Posted January 24, 2023 Author Posted January 24, 2023 I finally found what I was doing wrong. As I already said, the clothing is a part of a merge created by zMerge. For some reason the merge must be rebuilded again after all required actions in TES5Edit has done. Be aware, that zMerge can create another one merged mod which you have to activate and remove old merge.
