DarkAudit Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 I have townie makeover sims from various creators, and I've been using MCCC to pasteover their original appearance. All is fine for the most part, but when I go to places like the spa and these sims are either in a robe or staff outfits, they've reverted to their original appearance. For example, I pasted @DiscoverySims' Venessa Jeong makeover as she came in the door of the spa. When she changed into the robe, she was back to her out-of-the-box Get Famous form. I pasted Zoe Patel's makeover while she was in the massage therapist outfit, and the change didn't take until I changed her to a different outfit. Her appearance will shift back and forth depending on the outfit. HOWEVER... Someone like Mei Prescott, a makeover by the same creator, the change will take immediately. Is it because this is a newly saved sim from a more recent version of the game? I've seen this from other sims that were posted in the last couple of months versus years old sims.

There are more outfit categories than the ones you can change in CAS, what you are describing at the spa are Situation or Special outfits and Career outfits, once those outfit categories are created on a Sim you can not change them in game by any normal means so it sounds like your Sims already have those categories. An outfit category holds hair, makeup, accessories and all clothing, however it does not hold body morphs, if this changes it is something else, I know there is an issue where WW can reset a Sim back to the default body morph but I never found out what exactly triggers this.
