The NEW underwear changing system

Do I get it right, u can select only 3(!!!) underwear sets for the whole outfit of yours ?

What was wrong with the previous maneken system ?

It was just perfect to work.

What PROs the new system have, for switching the previous one by this ?

By far I mentioned only its bugged and castrated selection options ?

Is that a downgrade of the whole underwear changing process, or I'm just very stupid one and did not get the benefits of the new system ???

Hey! The underwear options were limited due to the new save system implementation that aims to use the game data types, which are limited. The new save system is significantly more stable and simply doesn't lose data anymore, where previous set underwear would just disappear. Although I've seen some rare reports of issues with underwear on the new save system, so far I wasn't provided with any information that would help me understand it.

Otherwise I've made underwear usable for all outfits at all times, meaning that you can apply any set on any outfit, where previously you had to set the underwear for every outfit individually. This is to account for less slots you can assign.

After asking around, of course not all agreed, but about 80% of people didn't mind the changes to the underwear system so I went with it. For you, as I assume you would have opposed it, I'm sorry to tell you that the underwear implementation had to be limited. It can still be improved from this point going forward though, so thank you for sharing your opinion.

About the disseapearing underwear issue:

After u select the underwear set it works fine while u take of ur upper clothes. Until u take off ur selected underwear and make a Sim completely nakedl, after that the selected underwear can not be set on again (taking off the dress just switch it to the no underwear (naked) set. as if the game has rewrote ur choise and fixed the naked set (as the selected set) after u took of the underwear.

The only way not to loose ur underwear choise is to switch it via nudity menu.

Hope I could delivered the issue properly.

Tell me if there is more nuances needed to be cleared.

I just got back into playing the sims again recently and was wondering why my underwear I set for each outfit was gone. Took a bit to find this post, thax u xraymanx for asking this in the forms. I have to say I agree and I loved the old system more. I liked being able to customize different underwear for each of my outfits. I would look for ones that I felt fit the outfit like Christmas themes underwear under a santa dress to wear during winterfest, or a maid themed underwear under a maid uniform. There so much great underwear cc I really enjoyed coordinating them with the rest of the outfit and using it with wicked whims as part of game play storytelling. I hope you can add something similar back into wicked whims as mentioned by others.
