Hi everyone! I just made my first animation, I tried my best to follow Turbodriver's tutorial, but it didn't show up when I played the game... I can see it in the mod list at the beginning of the menu. I tried to make my xml file tidy as possible and validated it several times but just didn't work...

Here are my package and xml files:

Thank you so much for the help!

Hey! There's a little error in your xml file at the end part. You've put the </L> in the wrong place.

In your file it looks like this:

Spoiler

          </L>
        </U> <!-- [END OF ACTOR ENTRY] -->

      </L>

      </L>

    </U> <!-- [END OF ANIMATION ENTRY] -->

</I>

But it should look like this:

Spoiler

            </L>
          </U> <!-- [END OF ACTOR ENTRY] -->

        </L>
        </U> <!-- [END OF ANIMATION ENTRY] -->
      </L>

   </I>

The "end of animation entry" should come before the last </L>, not after.

Hope this helps ;)

That works! Thank you sooooo much!!! But there's another problem... When the interaction started, the two characters just static standing there like this pic:

I checked my clip name and the value of the variable n again, they seem normal, I can't figure out what's wrong with the files hmmm...

The anim has 1000 frames and I do a lot of work on the details, but when I extracted the blend files as animation&bnry files they only have 14KB in size. Is that normal?

Here's my tool's version:

Blender version: 3.4.1(The newest)

The Sims 4 Studio version: 3.1.6.3(Wishes)

I'm wondering if maybe my s4s version is too low? Could someone give me some suggestions? Thanks a lot!

If you're using a control rig, make sure to bake the animations: Pose -> Animation -> Bake Action

Thx! I will try it right now!?

No problem hon ? Hope that's the case :)

Sorry for the report... I baked my animation in Blender, but it still shows an A pose..?

Actually, I tried to make a simple hands-waving animation like TB‘s tutorial example for the test, but it also simply showed an A pose, too?

Anyway, still appreciate your help! ?

Could you dm me the blend file? The whole animation file, not separate files for actors. Maybe I could try to put them in my game and see what's wrong :)

I think it's because of this, that version of blender is incompatible with s4s wishes

Yes, actually I already updated the s4s to star, the newest version, but it still doesn't work, even with a simple hands-waving anim...?

Are you sure you can use Blender 3.4.1? When you installed it, did you read which versions are supported by S4S?
