Can I download all mods at once?

Hello!

 

I know, it is all unique works of many people, and they are want to be known like artists and so on. It all is understandable. 

 

But, I install The Sims 3 and 4 already many times, and need to download all mods from zero - is very inconvenient to do. Yes, yes, I can keep in safe all mods, but there is many reasons, why I cant keep it on my HD all the time in real.

 

Is it possible to make torrent with all mods? Or something like this? For Sims 3 and 4 at least. It will be very vey usefull.  

 

I mean, for admins and owners of this site. Make bunch of stable versions of mods, and upload it like torrent.

Question is, may be admins, who made all of this stuff at loverslab.com, include all downloads will make and such torrent too?

Then you'd best reach out to them yourself. Chances are mod authors already have a thread or a list of links for their uploaded mods on their profiles and as a mod author myself I think that's enough for anyone who wants the complete archive. But who knows someone might like the idea of a compilation torrent and make one with all of their mods.

Problem is updates, whenever EA updates the game it usually breaks a lot of stuff, then the mods need to be updated and this can take months, if you don't know what is breaking your game bc you don't know what each mod does, how can you fix it? If you don't mind playing for some months until the next update that will completely ruin your game and the easiest choice is to just delete everything and start from scratch bc you are more lost than a whore's son on fathers day, you could download those torrents that some ppl make on 4 chan and those are not popular bc of this.

This thread has been a wild ride - especially since a solution for this has been around for years.

 

Simfileshare, get a free account (get someone to give you a code or google one) - Zip all your mods together and post it to Simfileshare. Presto, your stuff is cloud saved forever. You could even get creative and zip the SFW cc and NSFW seperately so you had less to deal with.

When I deleting Sims - I dont think about reinstall it in future, usually. That the point. And I dont need sugestions. I suggest idea by myself. And it is OBVIOUS

 

Ok? For all other clever accounts. It is suggestion for admins, because - it is simple and usefull.

"Saving time" 3 days with a 99% chance of getting a "ofc not you moron" from the admins on the remote chance they answer this shit, to "save time" from a thing that if you got the brains that you think you do, you would already discovered by yourself how to do it in a easy way 3 days ago.

@aradriel "all mods"... this is possibly the most moronic idea i've ever read around here... you clearly spent about 1.2 seconds thinking about this before posting.

 

how would this even work? what mods would be included? or you want 14 terabytes worth of low effort posters and recolors and god knows what else included as well? or the admins should write a magic script that mind-reads you and makes a special mod package just for you? what if a certain mod author(s) doesn't want their work included in such a package? so, so many questions...

and anyways, what kind of attitude is this? you seriously expect some other people to spend the time to compile, curate, update and distribute a comprehensive mod package just so your lazy ass can save some time?

 

i'm honestly quite baffled at the level of entitlement you are displaying here. wow.
