Why do i get more breast jiggling with UNP bodyslide?

I use vortex; I have installed 2 variants of bodyslide because I use CBBE body on everyone but I have one UNP character.

Anyway, when "CBBE mode" is active, there is one kind of jiggling. When i use "UNP mode", the jiggling gets...way more interesting, for ALL characters, not only the UNP one. But why?

I don't see any options regarding jiggling in bodyslide installation.

Maybe unp mode is using smp physics while CBBE mode is using cbpc physics?

Jiggle potential is somewhat governed by weight painting as well. You could look inside outfit studio and compare the breast weight painting between the two shapes.  Cool colors like blues and greens will jiggle less, while warm colors like orange and red will jiggle more.

Can you give me your opinion on this? I opened up the "CBBE body HDT" project and then the "Unified UNP HDT" project, they have a sliiiiight different green tone on the breasts, is that enough to give jiggle difference? They look basically identical to me.

I saw only now that when switching mode the files "femalebody_0/1" in the character assets folder changes automatically instead of waiting me to build something so thats where the change comes.

Also just to be sure, .tri files have nothing to do with physics right?

But most importantly, if this has to do with the generic body in the character assets folders, why the heck does this affect also the jiggling of Bijin npcs who have their own separated body file in their own folders?

I don't think that'd be enough to make a difference, but I'm not a weight painting expert. To be sure, you could pain one of the breasts on the cbbe body, then save it as a new project "CBBE Body HDT Uneven" or something like that so you can tell the difference, then build that nude body in bodyslide and test it in game to see how drastic the right and left breasts will bounce.

But its affecting all bodies while wearing armor too, its gotta be the bounce config settings. mine are at

skse\plugins\cbpc.config.txt

and inside the txt are things like

# Linear spring stiffness, higher is more jiggly
Breast.stiffness 0.05

# Quadratic Spring stiffness, higher is more jiggly
Breast.stiffness2 0.01

# Velocity removed/tick 1.0 would be all velocity removed
Breast.damping 0.08

# Maximum and Minimum number of units position can diverge from target
Breast.Xmaxoffset 5
Breast.Xminoffset -5
Breast.Ymaxoffset 5
Breast.Yminoffset -5
Breast.Zmaxoffset 5
Breast.Zminoffset -5

I know those values alter how much swinging around a breast can do since I played with those numbers using Sinful CBPC mod to edit things in real time.

SINful CBP at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)

I'm really thinking that unp mode is loading a different txt file than cbbe mode and that's why the breast bounce is different. CBBE offsets might be more strick, like -2 and +2 while unp is more loose with -6 and +6.

You cold compare the two files of unp and cbbe, then change the values to get things moving a bit more.

Well...

- yes painting the weight does change the physics but it does indeed affect only a specific naked body

- i searched the whole skyrim folder, but there is no cbpc.config file...

- i noticed now that in bodyslide installation, if i select UNP there is one more page of options where it asks stuff about physics, there isn't for CBBE

- lastly, when using UNP mode, the CBBE bodies have a thin cut along the calf and ankles, which disappears when in CBBE mode, guess its for some compatibility stuff.

So basically either i play in CBBE mode where it's all fine but no cool jiggle, or UNP with cool jiggle but some cuts in the legs and UNP generic body

Maybe the solution is that cbpc file, but i dont have it apparently...

I'm playing on LE btw.

Solved.

In UNP bodyslide installation, there is a second options windows regarding body phisycs, there isn't in CBBE installation. I dunno why but whatever.

The culpript was a "hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml" file.

In CBBE mode this file was still the "base" one from HDT Physics extensions, since it wasn't touched.

In UNP mode this file was overwritten.

So I just copied this file in the Plugins folder with CBBE mode and done.

But now it seems that although i can get the better jiggle, the bodies show this problem of leg cuts. I guess it's caused by the file swap.

UPDATE

I found this page https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59416?tab=files where there is basically all the info i need i think, and half billion different hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml files to choose from, for CBBE, so im done. Still no idea why they made the UNP installation give me this file and the CBBE one no.
