Any new and fun mods out there?

Because even the popular mods are getting kinda stale/broke or just not changing. I'm running out of ideas to play. Latest play was to try and father as many spell casters as possible, and replace the muggles with spellcasters in a generation or two.  Nah. Something is limiting the number of births.

Even a good idea would be nice. Tried making simolians on Simhub... nah. Strip club is fun at first but becomes a grind. NWP is broken, so no more prostitution. "Dolls", both the WW version and WP version, are fun until you realize that they really don't do anything.

Tried making settlements that were entirely slaves and leaving Preston Garvey in the museum but... Oh wait, that's fallout 4. nevermind.

Sims 3 you could go to the future, build time machines, and time portals, become your own grandfather like Fry,  go to college without dying of old age, build USEFUL plumbots that did things.. etc. Sims 4 you can ... vacuum the floor, make "servos" that cost an arm and a leg and a hundred clicks and then explode,  go to Grind High  School, or do your job at Grind Corp Inc.. BORING.

Science career was kinda fun, but not fun because the cloning machine doesn't work.

Aliens in Sims 3, I enjoyed dropping meteors on sims and buildings. Sims 4? Aliens have less play than humans.

Spell casters are over powered. Go copypasto a gold plate, copy it a hundred times, make a million simolians. Game over.

Vampires... so what? Played it until it was boring. Gotta admit, it was fun until I leaned the path to success was ... going to a nightclub bar and doing read personality hundreds of times. Grind.

Mermaids? BORING. At least vampires were fun for awhile.  Swim around. BFD.

Werewolves? Ditched it when my werewolf started attacking my other sims. I like Player characters that I can actually play.

What's your ideas?

You're facing a simple problem. One I call "The Sims 4" problem. The Sims 4's gameplay loop does not grab your attention. Sims 2 and 3 (I haven't played 1) have an addicting gameplay loop. I can play those games with no mods and have a blast. The mods just spice up what's already fun. The Sims 4's issue is that the gameplay quickly becomes boring and stale. The mods do add some fun to it, but there is only so much a mod or multiple mods can do when the unmodded gameplay is uninteresting. I hope the Sims 5 brings back that addicting gameplay loop that makes you start playing at 5 PM and stop playing at 2 AM.

What I can recommend in terms of what to do about your issue is to find new mods that may have not interested you at first. Give them a try. You might like them.

So true. I barely uses modes in previous games, but in case of Sims 4 mods is necessary.
