Help Pls: Can't download (authentication fails?) SexLab_LoversComfort

I signed into Lover's Lab but when I try to download SexLab_LoversComfort_v20130720.zip for Skyrim the authentication fails each time (?). I don't know if they possible block users that have internet through a tethered device is my only thought so far.

Can I allow NMM (nexus mod manager) to automatically install this so it'll be in the manager there or do I have to custom install. Description's installation instructions only mention manual installation.

 

Which mod do you prefer LC or RP?

 

When I install LC  Boss gives an error when I run that saying:     I guess I need to download SexLab 1.11b

 

      LoversComfort.esp Active

•  Error: SexiS.esm is not present or is not active. Skyrim will CTD when loading if using this file without it.

To get SexIs.esm  loaded I need to install SexLab v1.11b according to the instructions but I take it that Skyrim SexLab - Sex Animation Framework v1.15b would do the trick.

 

I thought I might've been overstepping a bit with that 2nd question but given the website I thought it was in line.

I just read that in the description:

 

"BOSS is complaining about missing SexiS.esm? Ignore BOSS"   but that is only if you already have installed SexLab I would think.

 

I still need Skyrim SexLab - Sex Animation Framework   for this to work, right?  I have already successfully installed  #1-3 on the list here:

The Requirements:

• SKSE
• SkyUI 4.1
• FNIS 3.5
• SexLab 1.11b    (I can use 1.15b skyrim version I hope)..

installing  Skyrim SexLab - Sex Animation Framework 1.15b  with Nexus Mod Manager.   If that all sounds right I guess I'm all set.

Yes you need SexLab for it to work.Animations  are not in Lover's comfort or any other plug-in mod that uses that framework.Don't forget to run FNIS.

A question about this:

 

  FAQ:  "Does PC need to be married to run the mod ? NO, just all spouse related content will not work."

 

  So how is that choice made, by simply installing the LC mod  or is there a choice or toggle in game or menu?

 

I read looked in the Description of LC mod and don't see it there.

 

SexLab says it doesn't handle that:

"Question: The mod doesn't do anything! How do I start animations?!
Answer: SexLab is a just a framework; it enables OTHER mods to quickly and easily start animations without having to worry about how to handle animating itself, leaving the modder free to focus on their mod idea, rather than the intricacies of animation handling."

 One last issue I need advice on:

 

  I just uninstalled Animated Prostitution which is old I guess (btw, embedded, no pun.., 3rd ?: Is having AP & SexLab w/LC incompatible or crash worthy?, not on launch I know that much.)   because I have this glitch where burnt vampire skin replaces npc's & follower's body skin all too often (1 in 10 times maybe its a texture but I did a pretty clean install though I am just into my 2nd month of modding Skyrim, I get no error messages when I check for them in TES5Editer, FNIS, or BOSS_other than saying I'm missing SexiS.esm, which I don't believe so & it says to ignore this error in the LC mod description).

  So, the best way for me to deal with until I find the cause which I've started to lose hope on, is to cast a spell called Show Me provided by Animated Prostitution, the AP mod. This makes them nice and nude with about a 50% chance to pop in the right texture when they put their clothes back on. My work-around. Obviously when I remove AP I don't have this spell & I can't stand that I have to look at vampire burnt up Vilja staring at me   Lol

 

So maybe I can avoid crashing, CTD, by not overwriting files with AP when re-installing & in game, not selecting the AP dialogue option and I can keep the Show Me spell and SexLab/LC will still work I hope (?).

Go to Skyrim\Data\textures\actors\character\female\ .

 

Make a copy femalebody_1.dds and put that copy in another folder. Rename it to astridbody.dds and move it back into Skyrim\Data\textures\actors\character\female\ , and overwrite the existing file.

 

Repeat the process with femalebody_1_msn.dds and astridbody_msn.dds.

 

I think this is a bug that happens when someone edits body meshes in NifSkope and they default to the astridbody.dds texture for some reason. Weird that you have it, but this might solve the fact that it shows up at least. Of course, it might also cause uh, visual weirdness for a few seconds at the end of Dark Brotherhood questline.

      ..well, looting the armor off that one body still ctd's. I will just avoid him and see if all else goes well. And that seems to be the trick. I just hope looting all steel armor isn't going to ctd but I'm good for now.  The game is running really the best I've had it ever now (fingers cross-ed it continues).

         Are you using any skeleton replacers, body replacers, animation mods, or FNIS? What is the race and gender of NPC that caused the CTD?

Now it's on my PC even with removing steel armor. So PC, Nord, male.

 

I first installed the skeleton files, CHSBHC - BBP - Nude and Jiggly Mod with NMM, then installed CBBE and let NMM overwrite the files of CHSBHC by CBBE. Then I added SG Female textures renewal, Sporty Sexy Map (athletic CBBE), and lastly Sporty Sexy Sweat.

I haven't had luck getting X32 skeleton or Realistic Ragdolls and Force to work so I didn't install them my 3rd go around.

I'm also using Fores FNIS idles but it has no errors when it's utility loads the animations up. Also "Pretty Female Idles" and lastly I added "Immersive Animations" wondering if that would cause CTD, left it for last, but ran well I thought (?), actually this steel body armor issue I think predated my installing Immersive Animations at least when looting. Should Pretty Female Idles be removed when using Immersive animations? At least as far as it's compatibilty with a skeleton mod Immer.Anim. website says:  

 Is this mod compatible with the <insert mod here> skeleton? 

   The animations are compatible with pretty much any skeleton."

I just tried uninstalling Immer.Anim.s and it still ctd's on removing steel body armor.

 

Again having this issue w/steel body armor only that I've seen, except now I can't remove the steel armor of my PC. It seems to just be steel body armor removal off NPC or PC that ctd's.

Game is nicely stable no otherwise (no errors found by TES5Edit, BOSS, or FNIS).
  very stable outside of this one action, trying to touch my equiped steel armor or loot an NPC's, when I used console command to remove everything off PC it crashed again.

 

I saw this one reference to this issue but I don't really understand it:

"Insta crash when equiping my custom armor: Check the Body Part Partition names, if it using something other than ones recognised by the game engine, like the BP_Torso as used in F3, and not something like "32"

A crash on armor removal is almost always due to a skeleton missing bones that are required by the nude body, usually breast bones for BBP.

 

Try installing XPMS again. You don't need to install Realistic Ragdolls, it's not a requirement and it also works against the game at some points, I'm not sure why it's written to be a requirement for XPMS when it clearly isn't.

Ok, I installed XP32 bones back in. The game is still running   but the glitch didn't quite fix itself. I noticed something I didn't notice before though: I can switch to some clothes from my steel armor with out CTD but the moment I try to take that garment off it CTD's still so maybe this isn't about it being steel armor exactly.

Yes, if you crash when -removing- an armor it usually means an incompatibility between the body mesh you use and the skeleton you use. Since you use CBBE and XPMS, I'm not sure what the problem is, as they should work smoothly together.

 

Edit: Wait, your character is male or am I misunderstanding a previous post? If so, do you use any male body mesh mod?

Separate question about CK:

   Also I installed CK to change the old-lady voice on EllyFollower. The game doesn't need to be running while you're using CK, right?  I've never done this before but in the walkthrough I see I add Data in CK, sksm & uskp as well as the npc I want (with some supposed normal import errors, "Yes to All", continue..) but after I do that I don't see her under Actors in the list to edit..  I can hang with Elly w/old woman voice but just curious. Fun to use these tools.

That helped!  So I installed the SOS patch after the XP32 XMS skeleton, now I am able to remove my armor without ctd's  

 

 One thing about that SOS patch which seemed to be the last part of fixing that: now every male has 2 penises.  don't know what to do about that. lol

Are you still using Better Males? 1 Better Male penis + 1 SoS penis = 2 penises

Yes I am.  So Better Males (bodies) is replaced by something else or I would have to go back to looking like a hairy neanderthal?
