NPC Replacer Mod Not Working Dark Face Bug Instead

So I decided to edit the NPCs in Skyrim. Been years since I did this. But after exporting their face gen in the CK. In game they do not have their new hair, face, makeup, etc. Its just vanilla with dark face. Not sure what I did wrong as the NPC isn't being altered by other NPC replacer mods.

You have to also include the changes in a plugin. If you change only the facegen files it conflicts with the data in Skyrim.esm (assuming the NPC isn't altered by mods) and gives you the dark face.

So the process is change NPC appearance in CK > Save these changes in an esp > Export facegen files. The names of the head parts in the facegen file must match the names listed in the esp to avoid dark face issues.

Also keep in mind the CK will only export vanilla resolution face textures, which is 512x512. If you have any modded face textures with a higher resolution, it will bug out and look like a red rectangle.
