[solved] Need help regarding bug? on bodyslot of an armor

So basically, i have this lingerie and the problem is all the stocking use slot 53 but somehow there is this one piece that use an additional slot 52 which conflict with other gear that i also equip on my character. The weird thing is, they use the same .nif file with just different textures, but somehow this particular stocking is using another slot unlike others. I also used xedit to check the armor addon as well as armor in .esp to make sure the slot in it is only 53. Please help :'

Use xEdit or the CK.  Start with the Armor record, untick the slot for 52.  From there, make sure the Armor Addon record matches.  Showing a slot in the inventory has nothing at all to do with the nif.

Yes i had also checked the armor addon and armor in the .esp to make sure it is slot 53 only, forgot to mention that in the post

Okay, that is strange then.  If nothing is overwriting the item from the esp, then something messed with its slots via script.

The only mod I know of that does that for slot 52 is SOS, but nothing about that item should be targeted by SOS at all.  You could try "clean schlongified armors" in the MCM and see if that fixes it.  Thats just a guess though.

You could also remove the item from your inventory and then spawn a new version of it to see if the issue is only with that single piece of gear.

It can be really hard to track down which mod is doing something like that.

holy you are right! it is because of SOS, i tried "clean schlongified armors" and it removed the slot 52 now. Thank you so much ❤️
