ModdersResources Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 How do I know if wickedwhims is installed and working? I installed it using the vortex mod manager. My female sim is still pixelated when bathing or using the toilet, and there is no sex or masturbation option that I could find.

Guess that answers your question. I've never used Vortex Mod Manager, so I'm not sure of any advice I could give there, but installing Sims 4 mods is actually very easy compared to some other games, so maybe you can try installing the mod manually, and seeing if it works correctly then?

How do I perform a manual install?

You put that folder over in the "Mods" folder in your Sims 4 game folder (same place you put all your other CC coontent). Start game, go to game settings. Go to "Other Options" and make sure you have "Enable Custom Content and Mods" and "Allow Script Mods" checked. You may have to reload you game, but that is basically it. 1

Exactly which directory/filepath do I put wickedwhims?

When opening a s save-file, Wicked Whims make a purple pop-up window telling you the version you are running. A few seconds later, a green window will pop up informing you of how you can contact WW. If these two windows do not pup up, you have not installed WW correctly. Then it is one of the following: - You may have put the WW mods in the wrong folder - You have put the WW folder too deep in the file structure (the WickedWhimsMod should be in the Mods folder, not in a subfolder) - You have not allowed mods and scrip-mods - Your game is broken (run a repair game via Steam) WW is a very stable and well crafted mod, at this point is runs better than the game itself.
