Use the latest one.  These things are usually backward compatible.

oh okay maybe it's just wabbajack giving me a weird issue. does the file name just have to match even if the contents of the file are different? (since they're two different versions) tbh if not for me then i think for the rare person experiencing my same issue the older version of more nasty critters should be accessible somewhere. if you or anyone knows where to find the older file i'm looking for please do tell cause i'm out of luck. i'll even follow a sketchy link if you have the older file on your computer if you wanna share.
