Karna5 Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 (edited) It's not really a bug. It's a mismatch of textures you use for your faces. The following textures must match exactly in resolution: - Face - All makup, paints, scars, etc. If you use LMCC for Looks Menu, you need to make sure you use the version and patches for what your face texture is as well. If you have anything mismatched, you get that "black face" as they call it. For instance, if you use Natural Face 2k, you need to ONLY use 2k makeups and LMCC and the like. If you use only HD pack from bethesda, all makeup and LMCC needs to be 1k. Anyway, check what mods you're using that touch the face, and make sure they all match. Edit: This includes facial overlays. Everything that touches the face has to be the same resolution. Edited November 16, 2022 by Karna5 2

Skywise Posted December 21, 2022 Posted December 21, 2022 If you search for "rust face bug fo4" you'll likely find a lot of info. Nexus has a couple of mods to help. 1
