All followers are bugged.

Need some help here. My followers recently stopped following me, all of them. As far as I can tell it all started after I dismissed Erik the Slayer because Laura from the Laura's bondage shop mod didn't allow me to start the quest in the slave cave with a follower. After dismissing Erik and completing the quest none of my followers will move, they are all stuck in place. Loading earlier saves from before this happened does not fix it and I have no clue at this point what the cause is. I'll include my load order and papyrus log in case anyone can make sense of what is wrong.

Not following followers is almost always ai off.

Toggle ai with console tai.

If you have got a follower framework, this might have ditched out.

Nope tai didn't work, I toggled that and combat ai. My follower still remains locked in place. Occasionally he'll teleport to me if I'm walking around or change location but other than that he does indeed act like ai is turned off.

it work with that

I assume the id's didn't change. But I don't know for sure.

esp name must be the same, as it's added as master.

If you know how to use xedit to change tze id in case.

I cast the spell and knocked him down with your mace and then revived him but he still just stands around and won't follow me.

Ok, do you have sexlab installed ?

There is an animation debugger.

Can you talk to the follower ?

What follower framework you are using ?

I guess resurrect, disable-enable and recycleactor you tried already.

Last ressort is resaver. Move alone to a single, like house or so.

Get the id of the follower, type this in resaver and delete the follower.

This creates him new. There is no danger, as it modifies an additional save.

If yours followers move their feets and try walk or running but not advance one single centimeter, probaly, is because some mod has enable "SetDontMove" over yours followers.

The "SetDontMove" must be executed in an obligatory way by a Papyrus Script because we not have a console command to revert "SetDontMove"

Then, if you have SexLab, launch an animation over yours followers and when the animation end the "SetDontMove" is removed by SexLab

Yes, I did disable-enable and I did kill-resurrect. I'm using nether's follower framework and tried some reset commands it's mcm but nothing fixed it. As for the resaver you mention, the bug seems to affect all followers not just one npc. To clarify they stand in place like navigation is off, it's not like they're running in place trying to go somewhere and I can talk to them and use my follower framework commands to move them behind me and to stagger them if they are stuck however after I do either they still just stand around.

Okay so I just tried the reset quest command in the nether's framework again and got another follower to follow me but Erik is still stuck where he was before so I think he is just broken unfortunately.

broken unfortunately

Don't give up.

First, you should have this for failure analysis.

Another shot would be

setfactionrank currentfollowerfaction -1

it's quite possible this quest thingens did not remove him from the follower faction in a correct way.

With the mod (link) you could checkout lots of thing, like in which faction the npc remains.

Something has broken followers AI packages. Usually recommended that NFF mod should load as one of the last mods to make sure it has highest priority. Try it and see if it makes a difference.

For future reference once you get problem solved. Before dismissing follower then use "This is your new home" dialogue line from MyHomeIsYourHome mod

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/20227

This will make sure that followers stays in that location until you want them to follow you again. Saves you the time to pick them up from the original home locations.
