Problems with Defeat

No matter what i try, i can not get a single version of Defeat to not CTD as soon as i try and load the game through Vortex.

 

I've tried (these are all the files I've downloaded to try)

SL Defeat

Sexlab Defeat

SL Defeat SSE 5.3.6 Bane

Sexlab Baka Defeat

SL Defeat SSE

SL Defeat v5.3.5

 

Anyone encounter anything similar and remember how they got it working?

 

Thanks in advance for any info or clues to help me get it working. Naked Defeat just really doesn't cut it for me. And Cursed Loot surrender options seem broken. I'd love to have Defeat pointing to Death Alternative and Simple Slavery etc

Might want to start by looking through you SKSE log to make sure none are spitting out an error.  Then on to the papyrus log to see if it is unhappy.

I've always had to put Defeat almost the very bottom to function correctly

I found a mod called Dragonborn in Distress that uses a system called Peril. It does basically the same stuff. Works enough for me to forget trying to get defeat working. Thanks for the replies
