[Non adult mod] Trying to make a mod for ambience custom music and bards - someone interested to help?

Hi!

This is a little pet project that I started few years ago but never got around to finish.

The idea was simple: I wanted to add to the game few bards and instruments that play and sing several additional song to the vanilla repertoire (that is in fact only 2 songs and 3 instrumental solos). I managed to convert few songs like the dragonborn comes cover from Malukah, For the love of the princess (braveheart), Promentory (last of the Mohicans) and pirate of the Caribbeans theme (I'm a sucker for Johnny :P ) and they can play in the game music seamlessly (leaving the vanilla music intact).

Now I was thinking to restart it, I remember how to do that (and should be able to create few custom NPCs), and I am looking on the nexus and here if someone would like to help me with the scripts, as there are few issues for me to address:

  • Some songs can be played vocal / solo instrumental by one npc but other songs would require more instruments (2 or 3 bards, with drums and violin) and I think there is a bard animation that involves multiple actors but I don't know how to edit the conditions to make it work
  • I guess there should be an additional condition to check if there are enough bards in the same area to play the group songs
  • I still need to figure if it's possible to combine it with heart fire (home bards) or ordinator to have your PC be able to perform the songs based on (speechcraft)

I think the end result should be something customizable where you can add your own songs (there is a tool for it on nexus). If someone likes the idea please let me know
