kakacarrotcake269 Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 I would like to go with light armor, mace and shield. So beside those three trees(light armor, 1 hand, block), I would like to put skill perks on and master Alchemy, Enchanting. Also some perks on Restoration and Alteration to deal with magic user enemies. Example sth like a mod that would add more ingredients to the world to be collected and combined (Alchemy). Or a mod that would make those ingredients to be reappear in the world faster etc... I dont have much knowledge in modding skyrim or the game itself so I can't point out sperific mods that i want. Please recommend me mods that you think will support the gamestyle i described above. Thank you so much for spending your valuable time to read my texts
traison Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 Harvest Overhaul for more ingredients (not new ingredients). Having ingredients respawn faster may not be a good idea, as it may be directly tied to cell respawn. With this mod that is not needed. Also, attached a script mod I made for myself that makes planted ingredients respawn every day, rather than every 3 days. Obviously both of these mods are way OP, and if you do not control yourself you'll end up with 100,000 gold by level 5. You do feel more like an alchemist however. I do not really use combat mods, so I can't help with the rest. Maybe this is a start however. BYOHPlanterContainerScript.pex 2
ttts1 Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 (edited) I also don't really use any perk or combat mods, and most of my gameplay mods are "quality of life" stuff and not major changes. Most of my mods are for the how the world looks, adding companions, outfits, and dialogue, and such. but here's some small ones you might want to look at since you said you are new to Skyrim mods: Helmet Perk Remover - This mod removes the requirement for helmet's in the the perks in the Heavy and Light Armor tree. Circlets or other things can now be worn without losing perk bonuses. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/7597 Passive Weapon Recharging - Enchanted weapons recharge over time for you and/or your followers. Recharge speed is based on your enchanting skill. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/14491 Run for your lives - A small mod that makes citizens in a village or city run indoors during a dragon attack. Keeps NPCs in places like Morthal from getting killed all the time. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2272 Better Dialogue Controls - Ever pick the wrong item in a dialogue with a NPC? This mod aims to fix some annoyances with the way keyboard and mouse selection works in the dialogue interface. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1429 Super Fast Get Up - lets your character get up faster after being knocked down. Fits the light armor theme you mentioned. Also may affect SL animations since some of those draw from the "get up" animation. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/46714 Edited October 25, 2022 by ttts1 1

Not for 1.5.97? Or is it not updated for the latest AE version 1.6.X ? I haven't actually used it yet. I am rebuilding my SE 1.5.97 after changing computers and starting from scratch. I just added the Passive Recharging mod and haven't played yet as I'm still working on the mod list (another 100+ to go).

Not for 1.6+, there are only three mods in my list that have not been updated yet, gear spreader, passive weapon and dar, not sure when or if they will be either, though both gear spreader and passive both have source code available on github so it is possible for somebody who knows what they are doing to fork it off and update, not too sure about dar though to be honest. 1
ttts1 Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 (edited) Thanks for explaining. DAR is a major reason I have decided not to update. I'm adding a lot of DAR related idles and animations to this rebuilt mod list, more than I previously had. Edited October 25, 2022 by ttts1
ttts1 Posted October 27, 2022 Posted October 27, 2022 I was thinking about this more since you said you are new to Skyrim mods, so I thought I would link to a some recommenations I had previously made for the "look" of Skyrim. The are pretty much all graphical improvements, bodies, outfits, and that type of thing. But it may help you get started. I try to talk about load order as well to prevent conflicts. This is for more of a mid-tier computer. A low end PC may not be able to handle all these and lots of other mods, I don't know (I'm running about 300). And a high end PC probalby wants High Poly stuff, maybe an ENB ... I don't know. I also changed armor replacers and don't use Book of UUNP anymore. I use Sun Jeong's TAWOBA Remastered, but there a several options on bikini armor. https://www.sunkeumjeong.com/post/the-amazing-world-of-bikini-armors-remastered-6-0 Again, this is just recommendations for a new person, I'm not saying this is the best list. Just give you some direction, since it took me months doing it several days a week to figure out some of this stuff.
