So i was asking that what should i do? i have important mods installed that i don't wanna lose And i wanna update Fallout new vegas by installing dlc. Any help is apreciated Link to comment
ascension Posted August 2, 2013 Share Posted August 2, 2013 You should be fine just to install the DLC considering all of your mods only use the vanilla game files and none from the DLC packs. Link to comment

However to be sure that you can recover if there is some errors you should always have a copy of the Fallout New Vegas folder when it is in a good shape before you upgrade, change or add mods or DLC's even if you are updating from a previous version and "patching" the game you should always keep a nice clean properly working backup. I try to keep at least 2 or 3 backups. Hard drives are cheap and your time is valuable. Link to comment
