Lagging and Non responsive

I've had a problem recently since I've installed Dragonborn. Periodically or after a long time my character will become unresponsive for short periods, sometimes during crucial moments. The game doesn't make any of the enemies stop like it makes me so this can make fights particularly troublesome. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem before. I have tried to uninstall Immersive Creatures 6.1.1 and that has helped slightly but I miss all the interesting creatures and was hoping it was just something wrong with my load order

The unofficial patch might have a part in the problem.  I recently downloaded DB and the only problem I noticed was that I couldn't absorb dragon souls.  Installed the unofficial DB patch and it fixed the dragon soul bug, but it would cause the game to freeze during heated battles.

 

Try without the patch and see if that fixes your problem.

That has helped tremendously thanks. Still occasionally happens but I guess that is to be expected.
