Havick1988
I recently Installed the CSE after finding something with a mod that I didn't quite like how it displayed. However I followed the instructions and when I try to launch teh CSE i get a "Could not locate obse_editor_1_0.dll. however I have the editor 1_2.dll that came with OBSE v21 that was required by CSE 61 Anyone know how to fix this issue? Ark of Truth
Don't use CSE 61 use the 51 version. Link to comment
Havick1988
I've tried it, Installed obse v20 and then CSE 51 and I get the same error. Its why I tried upgrading but that didn't fix anything Link to comment
movomo
You have plugy 132? Beta experimental version is required because beta build of plugy includes some critical editor crash fix codes. Link to comment
Havick1988
Im fairly certain I got the right Pluggys version. but I'm not sure that that would be the cause for the CSE to not be reading the dll. Link to comment
Teechan
Try removing every file to uninstall from CSE (including the folders inside Data/OBSE and Data/BGSEE), OBSE and reinstall everything. One other thing. Windows does this thing where it'll block certain things from zip files downloaded. Make sure you unblock the zip file as that's also caused instalation issues by left clicking for Properties, and finding "unblock" Link to comment
Havick1988
I will try that, Who knows that could fix the problem. I hope it will though I cant quiet my inner pessimist/cynic thinking that that wont fix the issue. Edit: Well I'll be damned, that actually worked. thank god for me keeping those backup files to make the re-instalation of OBSE and all its plugins as simple as copy paste. though doesn't change the fact that I am still utterly shocked that by just doing that and re-installing the CSE after deleting it all worked. I was almost certain I would get the same error Link to comment
