Clara Cox Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 (edited) Can someone explain how to install video wall support in rooms that have a TV? I have a movie (avi format) showing in movies option (album) but there is no green + button to put it on TV. This refers to the basic rooms (Living room, etc.), not addon room. I have the VX version installed and the r (latest) update. Tanks. Edited October 5, 2022 by Clara Cox

Curtis_S Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 **Video playback will not work properly when using hook (any version). The player does actually work, but will fade to black as you move away from the screen. How far away you can get depends on the size of your tv screen mesh and the video resolution. Larger TV screen + Lower Resolution = Longer Viewing Distance. Your videos might also appear black in the selector dialog if they are larger than 512x512 (they are playing though, trust me). None of this is an issue when using vanilla graphics.

For such complicated actions, it would be good to create a document with pictures of an example, or a video, to follow the steps. You gave me some files, which I don't know what to do with.
Curtis_S Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Video: https://mega.nz/file/eIRjkRib#Es4Asvd7fcdAIKIuWXhx0sMuIDXRTmk99cgKoaiHsfA Addon from video: EJRoom30_TV_Screen_Test.zip This may not be of much use, because I use 3dsmax, and only use Blender as a final file converter (it's the only thing compatible with CollaTKane). However, the addon is nothing but the mesh and the material, so you should be able to figure it out even without the video. 2
