Hi I have a problem whenever I enter whiterun and after loading after a few seconds I have a ctd and this also happens when I exit and it gives me this error:

can anyone help me?

Anyhow, I disassembled the dll and came to the conclusion that the function it crashed in (skee.dll+0x85b6a) is called from the following functions:

GetSkinOverrideString
HasSkinOverride
GetSkinOverrideFloat
GetSkinOverrideInt

These look like NiOverride functions to me. They're "exported" from nioverride.pex which is part of RaceMenu.

  1. Is your RaceMenu up to date?
  2. Do you have anything overriding nioverride.pex?

the only mod that conflicts with race menu is this one here "RaceMenu Special Edition - NiOverrade 용 (ece)" could that be the problem?

update it I can't because the later version requires AE

Don't know what that is, but based on the name, isn't it kind of obvious its a candidate?

that's not the problem keep doing it

I'm having issues with loading saved games involving skee.dll too. Does this change with AE? Is race menu any better on there?

Same offset in skee64.dll? Just because it involves skee64.dll does not mean it's the same problem.

Yeah, mine is different. I had some better luck yesterday when I took off some presets for OBody. I was able to have the game run for 2 hours before it CTD after loading an save in riften. I'm going to try again soon and see if I have the same problem.

UPDATE: It CTD again after a few saves. I went back to an previous save that I could get to load and I am trying to see if OBody .json being reset helps at all. I'm guessing something is going on the skee.dll doesn't like or that is overwhelming it and I'm not sure exactly what it is or even if it is that.

What version of RaceMenu?

Edit: Also, its very likely that callstack is corrupted.

Edit again: 0.4.16 I guess, the offsets seem to line up.

I'm not sure what skee64.dll+75292 is, but, some strings could be seen nearby:

NodeTransformKeys::Load
%s - Error loading override registration count

NodeTransformRegistrationMapHolder::Load

MultiRegistration<class MultiRegistration<class NodeTransformKeys
%s - Error loading multi-registrations (%d/%d)

You probably won't find anything by googling those but that's where I'd start, i.e. what is a "NodeTransformRegistrationMapHolder" in the context of RaceMenu?

If you happen to find the RaceMenu source code somewhere, post the link here, as those are quite obviously class and method names.

Callstack entry 8 is invoking ReadFile from KERNEL32.DLL. Get Process Monitor from Sysinternals (Microsoft) and have it log file IO traffic until the crash occurs. Set the filter to only include ReadFile operations from Skyrim's executable. Inspect the last entry; that's the file SKSE read (on behalf of SKEE) before the crash occurs in SKEE. That file is probably your best hint here.

Edit: If you don't find anything relative, filter instead for CreateFile, and focus on those requesting Read access to a file.

Okay I'm trying to figure out how to do all of this, never used Process monitor before.
