Make sure you aren't mixing Fourplay mods with AAF as the 2 aren't meant to go together: image.png.6864a585e45ce2db5996903dedc7494d.png This mod isn't for AAF, for example.

Edit:  If this is "Fourplay Kidnapped", get rid of it as well image.png.a42f4ff993dc72f6b8b0c9d0224e5e8b.png

There's a load order in the guide and if you are using MO2 there's a picture as well.

Functional displays causes crashes unless you handle it in a specific way.
To quote from the old Buffout crash scanner:

FUNCTIONAL DISPLAYS
Frequently causes object model (nif) related crashes and this needs to be manually corrected.
Advised Fix: Open its Meshes folder and delete everything inside EXCEPT for the Functional Displays folder.

You have a lot of what I have on there working.

And a bit extra.

I found that its best to get to a stable game and then add mods step by step ( requirements first)

I really struggled with making this work too but now its fine

( Exception Raiders Pet never had the letter delivered to me and I was never able to meet the boss even though I was sent to him.

Probably because I found Lexington before getting that quest and after going thru Raiders Pet "meet and greet".

it it may be because I did not start raiders pet status the normal way.

Maybe In a humble way now I may actually be able to help

here is my load list of a moderately stable game ( when multiple folks want to accost or talk to my character at same time while I already accepted one it sometimes does still freeze.

But here are not crashes on start up

I am not saying this is a best or even good order.

but it is one that works for me ( and I am someone who 3 weeks ago did not even know what a mod manager was.)

Make sure you enabled modding in your Fallout4Custom.ini file, there are instructions in the guide for this as well.  It enables "loose files" to load into the game so you need it for many mods to work properly including AAF.  Also for crashing make sure you follow the Buffout instructions.  And if you continue to have issues getting AAF / the game to run, there's an invite in the guide for the discord server.

Click the guide below, you'll need to read through it and make sure you follow all of the requirements including "enable modding", and installing Buffout, running the game through F4SE, following the version numbers in green.  It has step by step instructions for these things :)  Yes, it has tons of information but just take it slowly, 1 step at a time.  If you get stuck on one of the instructions it's best to join our Discord for further help.

You are in the same spot I was 3 weeks ago.

I did not know what all those things even where, much less be able to change things in there.

But there are guides here that really help.

I got pulled into downloading Fallout 4 just to modify it with MxR youtube vids..

Never had played Fallout 4 or any Fallout after Fallout 2 before that.

yes pretty much like me, also the few minutes i have played it i very much loved.

i am following your pictures and downloading the mods you have on it too, just a couple of mods i have not found so far ...  BraveAnims and Cross.

i do like to give MO2 another chance, but it is so much and so confusing, so after i download the mods you have i will try to follow that guide Sgt.Marge gave me ...

in all honesty all i want is to play the game modded ofcourse, but omg why is it so hard to set up :(

I usually try to only load the mods I need.

You will see on my list some are disabled here are like 2 or r on there I been meaning to disable too.

-For example the slave tattoos are not really necessary and mostly over the top and way too contrived for a post apocalyptical gang to plausibly  do on a victims.

but it does have overlays included that will show the marks (bruises and the like, even spanking and other marks for her behind and much more) which makes for realism.

if it wasn't for those particular overlays that add realism I would not use that one at all.

But I think since those overlays come out of the same slave tatoos files folder, that people (NPCs)  that meet her will consider those bruises the same as a slave tatoo and view her socially much lower for it.

-Devious Devices can add a lot of fun.

But the constant gags that you cannot take off arte also a bit over the top.

Some of them look expensive and in a resource poor post apoc I can easily imagine handcuffs as common but different version of gags that are so well locked you cannot remove them..

But otherwise it a lot of fun when its turned on I even got a nice clack corset with matching black high heel boots out of it.

I find myself playing the game looking for nice outfits in the ruins.

- The Eyes of beauty I am not sure if they are working unless one of my presets uses them that I am not aware

- And those extra hairstyle and I have not used at all yet. not sure if they work but I am very happy with my figure and look.

- Common wealth captives is a lot of fun because whenever you enter a raiders or other "bad guys" lair it will be decorated with attractive young women tied up in various poses in the nude. which i think makes sense when you think about such a "society". You need the "cross" files for that which includes files for this.

- My game still crashes about once an hour mostly when more than 1 NPC are trying t interact with me same time and somehow both interaction have opend at same time..

But I do frequent saves so it s a minor inconvenience .

Also you may not want to load the armored raiders and the raider level up plug in.

I just tried a restart with the quick start menu for the fun of it and they were much stronger now.

Much too strong for a early game level character.

Presets are special and are usually unable to be set up with Vortex.    Basically, you want your .json files in the following directory:  \Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\F4SE\Plugins\F4EE\Presets.     If you see folders in that folder (such as "the Lovely Victoria" as the title of a folder) then you have to dig out the .json files.

Make sure you have all the requirements for that preset, otherwise it will not look right.

sigh, I cannot find this this path or where the presets folder is anywhere on my computer. I've searched for hours.  Its a new build because I had some problems with my
PC back in Feb and had to re-install everything.  I just reinstalled the game and mods following '[AAF] "The F***ing Manual" ~ Up-To-Date Adult oriented setup guide (31/March/2023), and I've run the game, but I just can't see the folder to put my preset in. Should I just build the folder(s) in the right location?

Thanks for any help

Got my preset loaded through another option on the mod's page.  woot!

Thanks anyway,

Gray

Good, I haven't been able to get on every day so missed responding.   BTW, the answer is yes, you might need to build the Preset folder, but the F4EE should already be built for you.
