0nymous Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 (edited) On my heavily modded game I've unfortunately noticed that all the priests wearing robes appear completely naked, dicks/tits out. This includes our favorite Whiterun Talosian Heimskr (Acolyte Jenssen and Danica in the Temple of Kynareth are also affected by this. Probably because they're supposed to wear the same robes).  I ran a quick check of their inventory by running 'inv' on him through console and I appear to have found the culprit: The robe item they are supposed to wear has an incorrect/corrupt item ID. Killing the NPC yields no armor in the inventory, it's as if it's completely missing. After 1 hours of tinkering, I think I've done just about anything that I could to fix this. I disabled/reinstalled any item related mods I might have. I've sorted mod load order through LOOT. I've cleaned all my mods (https://tes5edit.github.io/docs/7-mod-cleaning-and-error-checking.html#ThreeEasyStepstocleanMods) and made sure I downloaded every dependent file until there was virtually nothing for LOOT to complain about.  I enabled and disabled Heimskr via console after every fix attempt. Doesn't work. I have now truly run out of ideas, unless new game is the only solution. EDIT: Nevermind about the "Worn" item ID (25000D77) - that one's literally his schlong, because it disappears when I remove it via removeitem. So the robes in question that he's SUPPOSED to wear are the Hooded Monk Robes with the item ID 00107106. I can spawn them in and wear them just fine myself. No, putting them in his inventory via console does not help. If anyone knows how to make THAT work, then it's also some kind of a solution.   Edited August 22, 2022 by 0nymous
pinkfluf Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 hi  I'm on vortex, when I want to try out something or think something is amiss I'll create a new profile based on my current one and check it out. Maybe if you could try that?

Is that the cause of the issue in the first place? Or is it yet to cause me problems? I was under the impression LOOT fixes problems, not causes them, and I did have to use it because I had other mod conflict issues which it resolved. As for my issue in the OP, I've found a brute force solution by using this simple mod below: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/15211?tab=description Though it's sub-par, because it requires me to talk and fix the outfit of every NPC manually. Definitely better than nothing though! Edited August 22, 2022 by 0nymous
Tlam99 Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 If you used loot before midgame you might face now first problems. They are not game breaking in respects of ctd, however, quest wont start, things like this. There is an easy test what it does. Open xedit, select a mod using scripts and masters. Check right side xedit for references in scripts. Now add a master what loads before the last master of this mod. Check right side, everything still ok. Now reorder masters of this mod, as the one you added must load before the master what was the last. Save exit xedit. Open xedit again and check references of this mod. All references of the scripts are gone. Same happens when shoveling around mods via loot when some of them are masters for other mods. Never use loot midgame, add new mods always as last loading after a bashed patch, never remove mods midgame or place a dummy esp into this slot.

Tlam99 Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 (edited) If this does not work, the default outfit does not exist anymore under it's ID. ID might have changed, side effect of cleaning, sorting midgame. Btw, never clean the original game files. This might cause missing navmeshes, especially dragonborn dlc. I am no friend of this cleaning stuff. No real advantage but a chance to mess up stuff. Edited August 22, 2022 by Tlam99
