disposabletrash123 Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 title pretty much sums it up. it seems like bodyslide is treating bodytalk as a variant of cbbe or something, because when i adjust the sliders for the female cbbe model, it fucks with the male bodytalk sliders too. trying to build for one and then the other just overwrites the previous build. is there any way to separate them so i can have different builds for men and women?
Karna5 Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 (edited) You've drawn an incorrect conclusion to your problem, BlazingBraixen. BodyTalk writes to the male body. CBBE writes to the female body. They don't even have the same mesh output. Whatever is going on for you, either you or one of your mods is making a big mistake But the mistake is neither with BT nor with CBBE nor with BodySlide. The modern BodySlide even shows you the output path of the mesh to be built before you even build it. Look at the bottom left. Post Script: Anyway, BT is Zex Skeleton. Why are you using CBBE with Zex Skeleton? And if you're using something to have distinct skeletons between male and female, start your investigation there. Edited August 19, 2022 by Karna5
disposabletrash123 Posted August 19, 2022 Author Posted August 19, 2022 the sliders for bodytalk and cbbe are definitely synced in some way. whenever i make a change to one, it messes with the other. i've figured out an easy enough work around though. when starting up the batch build for cbbe, i just gotta uncheck all the outfits/bodies for bodytalk, then do the same thing vice versa. i probably should have tried this before making a forum post.

For instance, if you want to build outfits belonging to EasyGirl, you select the group for EasyGirl and build just those. If you want to build BodyTalk male bodies, you select the group for those. If you want to build CBBE Vanilla Outfits, you select that group and build those. Alternatively, when groups are not available, you can put a partial name match in the outfit name field so you get only those. You do not have an issue in which CBBE and BodyTalk are stepping on each other. You're simply telling BodySlide to build male bodies when you only mean female and female bodies when you only mean male. Unfortunately you probably have a ton of messed up meshes now I recommend you reinstall both CBBE and BodyTalk and their outfits cleanly and start over from the beginning, only building by group as applicable. 1
disposabletrash123 Posted August 20, 2022 Author Posted August 20, 2022 the meshes seem fine. i just made another batch build for each with only the options for cbbe selected when building for cbbe and such for bodytalk as well. seems to have overwritten the messy builds from before.
