Can Sexlab Aroused Redux make NPC masturbate?

I thought it was possible but seems not. If i long press N the player masturbates. If i press N to select an NPC, it says "sexlab target selected: (npc name)", but then if i long press N it's still the player that starts the masturbation animation. Is it not possible to have NPC masturbate with this mod?

That is because Sexlab also has its actor selection button mapped to 'N' by default. That message does not come from SLA, and SLA in itself does nothing that'd make NPCs masturbate, you need other mods for that.

There are various mods that make NPCs mastubate in various ways.

If you want to trigger it yourself, the "SexLab Matchmaker" is one way to do it. It gives you a spell each to trigger sex-scenes for yourself and NPCs respectively. If only a single target was hit, that target will mastubate.

 

Another way is for example "Random Sex", where you can set it up for NPCs to either mastubate or have sex once a certain arousal threshold is hit.

 

But there are quite a few more than just these two, they are just the two that come to mind first for me.

 

Edit: Oh and let's not forget "Scent of Sex", where you can put together almost anything sex-related you might want to happen, albeit it can be a bit difficult to get into the first time.
