CTD when my character (Custom Race) starts to strip

I play as a custom race and this mod works fine for NPCs of vanilla races, but causes a CTD when my custom race character starts an animation. Does anyone know what causes this?

It nigh impossible to help you if you don't say which custom race mod you use and don't post your load order.

 

Do you use SoS? Does the game also crashes when you unequip your chest piece?

I looking for that question. CTD when i undress player or npc male use SOS , can you help me fix that :3.

Custom races tend to have their custom skeletons located in their, you know, custom folders. Try to find those custom skeletons and replace em with not so custom XPMS.

If you use SoS (and afaik a non-vanilla skeleton) the game will crash once a male actor unequips his chest piece; you need this file to fix that: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/36923//?

If you have already installed that it's very likely that it's not automatically installed for custom races because custom race mods install the replaced files elsewhere; you have to find out which files said fix replaces and replace the equivalent files of your custom race with them as well.

when something similar happened to me, was due i think to compatibility issue between skeleton, body mesh and bbp/tbbp animation
