NotKinkyEnough Posted August 10, 2022 Posted August 10, 2022 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/65136 this is new to me, not seen it discussed here but it is hard to search for b/c the name 'nemesis' is overloaded. just wondered if anyone technical had looked at it for compatibility with our defeat mods? So sexlab-valid enemies can get sexy abilities, or just use the raw shadows system as part of the base defeat mod setup. maybe adding sexlab style buffs/debuffs to the nemesis mod's system, like until you defeat the nemesis: not being able to orgasm; getting constant arousal; nemesis gains strength each time player has sex; restrictions on wearing clothes; gives the nemesis an "allure" which increases the characters horniness the closer they get; nemesis leaves female pc pregnant, and baby will be a monster if born before enemy defeated; nemesis leaves pc pregnant with permanent respawning estrus-effects, and the only antidote is on the nemesis; nemesis adds random bounties to player in random holds until dealt with; nemesis spreads rumors, erotic fiction, naughty paintings of the player, affecting their SLSF rep; that sort of thing. Make it so instead of killing nemesis you can, or have to, make them orgasm a number of times, which increases by 1 each time the player character orgasms before the showdown. Or, give all or certain nemeses a power which lets them seduce the pc based on the pc's horniness when they use the power. Getting seduced by a nemesis counts as being defeated again. (this power could also be added to npcs who strongly match the player's preferred attractive partners, if a profile is in place, so players could get nemesis-defeated by being seduced normally!) also hook into respawn system to allow the erotic options from the mods already here in the lab I know that's a lot but I like to discuss, and I'll probably never get time ans skills to mod anything good myself based on past experience 7
NotKinkyEnough Posted August 19, 2022 Author Posted August 19, 2022 sorry for self reply but just saw this comment on nexus forum for the mod: Quote 18 August 2022, 8:16PM FYI you can turn of NADS anytime from inside the MCM. Better yet, the next update to NADS should allow you to use other alternate death mods while keeping the Nemesis system in tact... stay tuned so it looks like one part of this might become a lot easier, adding new buffs and debuff still needs to look at because it is wrapped up inside scripts 2
NotKinkyEnough Posted September 2, 2022 Author Posted September 2, 2022 UPDATE with the latest version of Shadows I reactivated Death Alternative and Defeat, and it works at least a bit. I tried to exit Markarth while it was under seige by forsworn. I helped the Markarth guard kill almost everything but then a Lost Valley Archer got in a lucky shot and killed me while her mammoth took out the rest of the guards, and lydia. So I got a nemesis from shadows, who was renamed Annese the Sadistic. Shadows then handed the death part over to DA which rolled up SD slavery, so I actually became my nemiseses slave outside markarth. (Also lydia got taken away too thanks to Follower Slavery Mod!) Now my character is looking for a way to defeat and escape a buffed up nemesis level enemy so she can go and find what happened to poor lydia. So cool. I set up Defeat to not trigger any player defeat at all and I need to test that part to see if I can make it trigger a whole defeat scene before or after creating a nemesis. I hope that can all go smoothly as well. I still think it would be ossum to have special sexy nemesis options so I hope shadows code gets opened up to we can add those. 3
NephilimOokami Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 One strange thing just happen to me, i've been defeated(disabled the alternate death from Shadow of Skyrim) and after the nemesis have been created the game just run one Sexlab Defeat scene and after that, the game sound have been set to too low(like if the things happen far from where my char is) 1

I find a save and reload fixes it but it seems there must be a console command or script to fix it. I guess it is something Shadow does but does not undo because the undo is embedded in the revive part of the Shadows scripts. maybe report it to the Shadows n3*u5 page so he can add the undo to the part of his script which hands over to other DA methods. My other notes: it all sort of works but the Shadows equipment loss happens before the Defeat scene, not a deal breaker but it would be cool if somehow we could do Shadow after that, so if I A-D resist I am not already remotely stripped and disarmed by an archer on a nearby tower. in a perfect world we would use Shadows as a possible outcome triggered by Death Alternative (or Defeat) so it happens last in the process instead of first. Give it a percentage then move on to the normal post assault outcomes. Or maybe a special trigger for Defeat which has a 100% 'kill' afterwards. That way the new trigger would run, get the defeat scenes, then kill and trigger Shadows, then Shadows passes over to Death Alternative or back to Defeat for a normal round. 1
shrtjsrtj Posted September 14, 2022 Posted September 14, 2022 After using this for a while these are my thoughts. It it is faster and more reliable to trigger than the older Defeat mods and less buggy than Yamete Kudasai. It also hands off well enough to Baka Defeat after you've obtained a nemesis, and set it up correctly. And then there's the bad: It strips Devious Devices, if you set up followers to save you they'll instead just keep fighting forever and get up from knockdowns over and over. There's also the audio issue others mentioned. Far from perfect but still, IMO, better than the alternatives. 1
randomUser2019 Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 @shrtjsrtj How did you get it to work? Every time I get downed Shadow of Skyrim kicks in and does the fadeout thing. I tried disabling Shadow of Skyrim's death alternative feature but then it fades to black and when I come to I'm just stuck on the ground or it cycles to the fadeout over and over.

I'm playing with Naked Defeat ATM so can't check, but if I remember right it was turn off death alternative and change the bleedout to animation. For Baka Defeat I think I had to Make Essential on bleedout. With it setup like that Shadow kicks in when low on HP, gives you a nemesis and then leaves you in bleedout for Baka Defeat to take over and do its thing. It looks like there are newer version of Shadow of Skyrim out, I was using 1.2. It's very unlikely but it might make a difference. 3
WinterInterloper Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 Biggest way I can tell you to get defeat mods working with eachother (that don't hook into eachother), is to set up work arounds. General idea: make surrendering the better option instead of a full-blown defeat. Example: make a set up where a surrender rape scene only makes you loose some gold, while a full-on defeat causes the nemesis system to take effect. It's not really a hook into it, but it's an idea 2
MiyuShinonomiya Posted April 21, 2025 Posted April 21, 2025 (edited) This might be a bit of a necro, but now that some time has passed, I'd really like to express interest in the possibility of getting Shadow of Skyrim's defeat result after Defeat mods do their thing. Either that, or plugging events directly into Shadow of Skyrim somehow. It seems to be a very stable framework. Right now, I'm trying to get OSimpleDefeat to work with it, but I never really understood how to get new Release Events for it working, just the standard Get Up event. It works well, since Acheron activates before Shadow of Skyrim ever even activates. For anyone wondering, Acheron happens early enough that the Nemesis System triggers never fire off from Shadow of Skyrim. I wonder if you could plug in Shadow of Skyrim as a Release Event. I realized that even just using the console command to kill the player during the bleedout animation post-assault in OSimpleDefeat, I can seemingly trigger Shadow of Skyrim without any issues somehow. If only there was some way for it to happen automatically. Edited April 22, 2025 by MiyuShinonomiya
