Necromencer92 Posted August 9, 2022 Posted August 9, 2022 i've been playing skyrim only for screenshots and only interior shots ! i don't know what is the trick but the interiors lighting in GomaPero Land mod looks awesome with basically any ENB and bring the textures and meshes of body and clothes mods to a level of a details of a render ! i want to know what makes GomaPero interiors looks incomparable to others and is there any tips to make other interiors like cyberClub or Aether suit..... have more intense and detailed lighting
Gukahn Posted August 9, 2022 Posted August 9, 2022 (edited) Lighting sources play a very big Part in Quality of Screenshots. I recently started fiddling with Reshade and other Lighting Mods in my game. Also don't forget, this Island was explicitly made for Screenshots, Same goes for Karlovs Manor. Both are Locations not made to play so the Authors put a lot more thought into Lights, Shadows and Effects in this Locations then others do with Navemesh and other things like playablity and convenience. You can't compare the Rest of the Game World with these Location Mods, but you can get a very good result with Lighting Mods like I said. They make a Big difference. Now I don't use ENB but i am fearly certain a very big Part of this Community do and put Mods out specific for Screen Archery. I would start with Weather and Light, Relighting Skyrim and Obsidian Weathers are what I use rn. Weather might not be important to you but Relighting Skyrim is very nice Edited August 9, 2022 by Gukahn

Image space of a cell, cell data lighting, and placed lights all have different and multiplicative effects on realism. They can also have the opposite effect. My tip is honestly just trial and error with making your own light sources and combining them with different image spaces and cell lighting. EDIT: Do note I am saying what it would take via creation kit. Edited August 9, 2022 by yorpers
Necromencer92 Posted August 9, 2022 Author Posted August 9, 2022 i know these places were for screen archery ! i want to know why GomaPero interiors looks almost like a render but other mods also made for screen archery doesn't have that level of details and intense lighting

Not to say the others didn't. I use some lighting from aether suite in some of my screenshots. It all comes down to where mod authors put light sources and how they have cell data configured. Here is one unedited SS with aether suite lighting(but not in aether suite itself) Spoiler

There is no way I can explain in detail how to do this, It involves too much trial and error; and if you haven't ever used the creation kit before there are so many things you will need to learn that I can't teach. Just understand trying to copy lighting effects like these could take hours in EACH ROOM. It's a very slow process.

Unfortunately I don't know what one would be good, I learned back in like 2016. That being said, any video about the basics of creation kit will help and this video seems to show the basics of lighting, but I didn't watch it to make sure. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVfkKISOPqA Hopefully that will show you the basics. If you load AEther suite as a master most of those lights show up with '00' as the first part of their editor ID. That should help you know what lights to try out after watching that video. Hope that helps. Spoiler

That is a much more complex question that it may seem. A lot of the time in my experience it isn't just the light itself, but the placement. You are only limited to like 5 light sources before they start to flicker off and on due to a game limitation, so you have to use them sparingly. Good placement is trial and error, and I am not claiming to be great at that. As far as the light themselves that is trial and error, but usually warm or neutral colors like yellows and grey browns I find bring out my PC details more than cool colors.
