ShadeFarmer19 Posted August 9, 2022 Posted August 9, 2022 I feel like I've tried most if not all combinations in the FOMOD when installing 3BA, but my physics never seem to function quite like they are advertised on the 3BA mod page. My rig can handle full SMP, so I've been using the SMP Heavy option. I have CBPC, Faster SMP, CBBE, and 3BA installed and all (appear to be) working fine. However the physics and collisions just don't seem to be as nice. Any advise on the best choices, or directions to a better custom config, to get it to function properly would be helpful! (Oh, also if someone knows where to get those animations i'm dying to know) 1
Asrienda Posted August 10, 2022 Posted August 10, 2022 You'd need the same exact body morph to get the animation to look the same. 1

That seemed to get it much, much closer. Still doesn't look quite as smooth but maybe if I play with the options now it'll be better. Thank you!
assassin394 Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 (edited) What are your FPS? You need constant 60 fps to make HDT physics movement look smooth. Edited August 14, 2022 by assassin394

I am running constant 60 fps indoors, which is where I am comparing. Outdoors it drops, so I understand things will get a little wonky there.
deepcool Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 This is a good topic. Thx for asking Shade, I just got this game and was having the same question. Still trying to wrap my head around CBPC, CBBE, CBBE-3B, and if i need SMP or HDT. I had thought CBBE was the morph. Silly question, but any recommendations for a morph? Searching morph on nexus isn't giving me much. Would it be placed lower after CBBE-3B?

Searching morph on nexus isn't giving me much. Would it be placed lower after CBBE-3B? 3BA Requires all of those things as it kind of builds off of them/uses them as resources. Your load order should have XP32SE, CBBE, CBPC, and SMP/HDT (Faster HDT-SMP appears to be recommended these days) before 3BA. 3BBB (called CBBE 3BBB on nexus) is the predecessor to 3BA and isn't actually required. 3BA runs on a mix of (or either/or) CBPC and SMP with a toggle option in game (Numpad +). So all resources should be a hard requirement. If your rig can handle it, SMP is supposed to be smoother but more of a resource drain. CBPC still functions pretty well from my experience, and your NPCs will mostly be running that unless you manually toggle individual NPCs to SMP (Numpad 9 while targeting them) If you like the preset (morph) from the 3BA previews you can use the author's personal preset: If you want something else just search "3BA Preset" on the nexus and you'll find them aplenty. You can install them like any other mod if you're using MO2 or drop them in the CalienteTools > BodySlide > SliderPresets folder if you're using another method. Open BodySlide, choose your preset and batch build your body/armors. I personally like the Demoniac body and the Tinraa Body on nexus. That should get you up and running but there's plenty of tweaking you can continue to do with CBPC and SMP configs to get things just right. Still haven't quite figured that part out though, as my settings don't quite replicate the preview images. Close though. 1
