Can't intereact with certian objects

At first I thought this was an issue with a specific mod I had installed called Daylight Ring because I could click on the object and it would give the option to interact with it but then nothing would happen, my sim would just stand there. Today I decided to start a new game and when trying to interact with the fruit cake from the welcome wagon event my sim cut a slice, then blinked in out and of existence, then the cake was on the floor, from there I have been unable to interact with it. The menu shows up, but picking options from it does nothing.

All custom bed are broken. Remove them or use Sims 4 Studio to fix them theres a guide on their forum.
