I get this same error. I believe we have to wait until the base game and WW are updated

Check your WW version. I got issues since the game version 1.90.375. Try WW v170h. Worked fine here.

I use the current WW version 173.2 and I get this error from time to time...

Check for mods that add custom traits/whims as they're likely the cause of your issue.

You'll need to update them.
