ImNotSimon Posted July 29, 2022 Posted July 29, 2022 (edited) So, i'e tried running 3 instances of Skyrim together in 1 pc, 2 are clients, 1 is the server. Both have the same mods and load order. It works fine and dandy in singleplayer, but once i join the LAN server, using "localhost" as the address while the server app is open, once i try to get into a animation, it says something like "Check if you have animations for 2 participants" on both NPCs and players. So, i ask, "Is Sexlab even compatible with Skyrim Together Reborn?" If yes, then lmk how, appreciate it if you do. UPDATE: Got it working for NPCs in a server, but it appears as 1 player and the NPC standing still in the same position in the other's screen, and it still doesn't work for players Edited July 31, 2022 by AF1rryHunter666 it's a update, also tell me how to set as spoiler lol
an angel of blood Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 this is crazy, i'm surprised it works at all. i'm very curious if there's a way to fix that one issue 1
analinusa Posted January 3, 2025 Posted January 3, 2025 5.12.2024 skyrim together has an update: Added experimental sync for custom animations/behavior mods such as those made for Nemesis or Pandora Possibly that means that sex animations now can be synced? We need someone to experiment with this.

labuser1234 Posted July 30, 2025 Posted July 30, 2025 (edited) You can try the latest dev branch, syncing works... OK. I'm running P+ which i think you might need as it registers animations different - haven't tested regular SL though so maybe it catches papyrus registrations too? (kinda doubt it tbh, but someone else would have to test). https://github.com/rfortier/TiltedEvolution-rwf The wife and i have been trying to get a playthrough going together for a while now and to say it's jank is an understatement - but if you're willing to do a lot of troubleshooting and potentially writing some custom patches it does "work". Note: Dev branches also include support for EngineFixesSSE which is what really even allows this to be a possiblity with any modern SL load. Edited July 30, 2025 by labuser1234 1

I have a friend I'm trying to get working with a few mods and sexlab. I'm just testing things out for now and we haven't started playing, but I'm having a problem where the npcs involved in the animations can't seem tot take their clothes off. I know this isn't a support thread or anything, but I was wondering if you also had this? Does that newer build fix it? I find it weird, but they'll take their clothes off, put them back on and do it again like sexlab is fighting with Together Reborn for some reason. Maybe Together Reborn checks if characters have their armor on and fixes it if they don't? 1

As far as I got was one person being able to see animations.
odiakan X Posted August 12, 2025 Posted August 12, 2025 Okay just did a fresh install today, w/o EngineFixesSSE. It is working for the most part Sexlab P+ is installed and animations are playing, only problem is its not the same animation being displayed for both. Also the host character is the only one that has positioning that lines up. It works with all creatures and humans if using pandora, another issue I noticed was NPCs don't auto strip. I'm only using two packs currently and it's a very bare bones modpack build using MO2.
labuser1234 Posted August 17, 2025 Posted August 17, 2025 (edited) i believe custom animation syncing is on the STR team's list as it's a common thing for mods to do (not just the NSFW ones), along with a lot of magic effect, quest, and other syncing. It could get pretty good over the coming months as things come together further on their end but i feel the issue of player v player animation syncing & alignment might not be something they'd be looking into as they aren't really trying to make the mod for an overt nsfw usecase. It could happen by happenstance though, if it's something other more sfw mods utilize - we're sort of just living at a lucky intersection of SL & STR mod development. unkbarg0 Posted December 18, 2025 Posted December 18, 2025 i tried. we laughed. it s amusing but not up to usable. things that worked: erection spell strips a maleplayer on cast. nothing more. SL scenes can be called, we were in a party, i launched included SL anim. other player could walk at the start teleport, it failed. then reposition that called player on me. but scene was so terribly miss aligned. cbpc for all the extra wobblies. other player could not start SL scene/anim on my player. face discoloration for maleplayer, fsmp has dll error i cant resolve, no hair physics. feedback on what goes if where is somehow sparse. i have hopes \o/
e-deadrix Posted February 9 Posted February 9 probably server side. assuming based on what i can gather from lightly reading on how it work and the little result shown here. lets say pc A (host) and pc B (guest) are doing a scene together: the Server probably does not process it as player A and player B doing the same animation ( A + B => AB ) but instead what happened here is that player A and player B want to do the same thing but either: 1. Player A and B run the scene but the server think those two are saperate and as a result not synced ( A + B => A // B) (this is what i assume the case to be) or 2. Player A and B but since the server is hosted A only player A gets the full server support instead of B ( A + B = A >B ) (basically helldiver 2 issues where the server favor the host over guest). i guess the "easiest" work around is to make a body double for the scene, so that when the scene start it's only 1 player that doing all of it instead of 2 player (possibly making it actually work but not the true vision). the best bang for your buck in the long run is maybe to create a server-host side server script extention that run (or force) sync the scene calculations, processes and result.
