3rd Person Camera messed up? How to fix?

So, this happens to me once in a blue moon with Skyrim.  I do something while in 3rd person view and suddenly the WASD keys are only controlling the Player Character and not the camera.

I have no solution for this and have not even found what type of behavior may have caused it.  I have to reload an earlier save game to continue.

An example of the bug is - pressing the D key and the character turns to the right without moving to the right.  Also, can't return to 1st-person view.

I've tried "tfc" and I can control the camera as expected.  I've tried enable/disable and "recycleactor" -- also ineffective.

 

I know others have seen this too.  Is there a reliable solution?

Try typing animcam in the console, sounds like what that setting does.

Thanks, I'll try that next time it happens. and post again with the result.

This happens to me regularly, usually when doing many things with free camera or pressing Enter while in an Animation (because i am an Idiot)

I found out several Things that can fix it. Sometimes the one solution doesn't work but the other does, very rarely nothing works. They are as followed:

 

Try to find an interactive Furniture like the Smithy, maneuver your Character there and try to use it. Wait a little, exit it = Fixed it sometimes, mostly when it happens with sexlab.

 

Go Free Camera mode, quick or hardsave and load it. Exit free camera mod after a little while. You see sometimes if it worked when your character gets invisible while the save loads, don't worry. After you exit free camera it fixes itself.

 

Last Solution was closing the whole game and load the save it happened. This one i need to do very rarely tho and it's the last of the ones i know of. If everything and the other mentioned method don't work it's previous Save for me too
