NPC's cant remove my restraints

First of all thank you too anyone willing to help me out with this!
Second im pretty new to modding in general and should be considered to be akin to a cave dweller so i apologize ahead of time
And thirdly i havent a clue how to include a log for my papyrus script but i will def include it if im told how to find it

Using Base skyrim or Skyrim legendary i think? dont ever remember buying Legendary edition but LE mods work for my base skyrim just fine (Seemingly fine atleast)

Now unto the matter at hand, pretty simple but im having an issue where an NPC may agree to remove a restraint currently locked unto me but for some reason they wont actually go through with the action, example being i asked a smith to unlock my cuffs and while they took gold from me as payment after agreeing to do it the cuffs were still locked unto me. The NPC's will still interact with me for things like sex, and adding restraints though sometimes when they go to add restraints i run into the same issue where nothing happens.

Ive made sure too include every requirement for devious devices/cursed loot including FNIS and running that properly, also made sure that my bodyslide mod built a body for every single item included by DD and also Sexlab framework with Sexlab aroused,

You should ask in Cursed Loot forum thread to get answers where you are supposed to, but since you didn't give any info i can only give guesses based on what others experience...

1) Devious Devices 5 is ALL-IN-ONE mod. A lot of people are still installing Assets, Integration, Expansion and Contraptions as separate mods... Don't do that, they are all old versions.

2) You may have some quest devices which cannot be removed by NPC's. You didn't tell which devices are locked on, their exact names or item ID's.

3) Cursed Loot doesn't specifically add device removal feature to smiths, only for the specific heavy restraints added by DCL. All shopkeepers, smiths included get a random chance to give you an option to sometimes help with devices, but it has somewhat low chance to succeed and that only works for the generic devices.

4) Other mods add more ways to get out of them, for example Devious Helpers adds dialogs to smiths so that they can remove them for gold (but again only generic devices).
