TheRightDoorIsNotTheLeft Posted June 12, 2022 Posted June 12, 2022 As the title says, there are some vanilla corpses that have some collectables (like treasure maps), but when I encounter them, they've already vanished. Maybe it's "one of my mods", but I'm wondering if if there's some more efficient way than doing multiple "new games" with mods uninstalled until I figure out which one it is. Is there some way to use xedit? Or some other method that's more efficient than brute force? edit: I tried looking in the "corpse cleanup cell" and didn't find any of those vanished vanilla corpses. You know, the ones who are already dead when you encounter them.

Some time ago, i think it was even when i started playing the game, it appears that even important Corpses like the one in Windhelm that triggers blood on the ice just vanished. Npc standing around and acting normal but corpse was gone. Think the Game only prevents Npc´s with certain Items to vanish. Can you show your Modlist? Maybe something catches the Eye

There some other mods that totally stopped working for me, but seemingly works perfectly for everyone else. Don't know why.

I'm on SE, and I made the mistake of updating my mods. Although some of the mods are perfectly fine with SE and AE, there are some mods that don't advertise themselves as optimized for AE and throw a wrench into things.
