How to edit a physics armor set?

Hey apologies if this is the wrong place to ask this. I'm a big fan of the DX Druid Set but as I use CBBE I have been using this cbbe conversion with physics. The original mod was fairly customizable, including an option to not wear panties, but the cbbe conversion has the panties with the rest of the armor. How hard would it be to separate them out into different slots, and how would I go about doing so, what programs would I use? Thanks in advance
