assassin394 Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 So I'm using NVR3R - New Vegas Redesigned 3 Revised mod with Type4 body and NVR BNW REDESiGNed - TYPE4. Base on this mod description it should make all NPC from Redesigned 3 compatible with Type4 body/texture and have minimal neck seam but in my case it just not working. The neck seam still very obvious. I tried reinstall multiple time, change load order...etc nothing work.? Anyone know how to have Redesigned 3 NPC work together with Type 4 Body without neckseam please help?

I say this because even if T4 is definitely a huge step forward, the seam is still slightly noticiable imho, not like in newer games where it's really invisible. I wouldn't want that what you think it's an issue in truth is just the best result obtainable.

Here is the screenshot without T4 patch installed And with the patch installed The seam is less visible so I think the mod is working but I thought it gonna be seamless like in Skyrim or Fallout 4. Also my character with T4 body have almost no neck seam at all so that is kinda weird

The doubt of the third picture is very legit, however from the expression of the character it seems a custom race from zzjay (is it a Mannequin race?): if it's so, she uses her personal way to cover the neck seam so the result could be pretty different than a plain T4, she has such a very good eye. But I can be entirely wrong and I don't want to move you from a possible real answer, I prefer to say I'm too ignorant and not waste you more time.

I guess it will have to do for now.
malistaticy Posted June 7, 2022 Posted June 7, 2022 could be an apparel issue. outfits generally include a copy of a body mesh with the clothes-hidden parts cut off, and occasionally these copies have odd texture alignment or bad normals. have you checked how they look naked?
