That's not even what i'm talking about. You should be the one laying off if you didn't know how things work.
Many modder of the past like mono & Hi-Metal made a mesh or skin that works universally for every mods (again, since you didn't know how things work, i'm not talking about the difference between steam & dmm). And like I said, nowadays every modder are racing to make their own mesh & skin that makes it incompatible with each other works (guess what, again, i'm not talking about the difference between steam & dmm). This is unhealthy. Look at Hi-Metal, now he needs to make different skin set for different mesh because of it, but hey why would you care? You know hosw things work didn't you?

But i digress, since me hoping the modders here being more cooperative with each other to make their works easier is disgusting attitude, please just continue.

Not exactly Teddy's fault that his mod for Steam doesn't work on DMM, that's mainly the developers fault for having the same item using different hash IDs between the 2 different servers.

I must thank @zalkdan for this, because i would never ever consider this before.

Here, I made this based on Teddy's. Simple mod, no variation, no idea if it will mess or break other mods, but whatever. Either way, anyone who knows things better than me are free to modify this to make it better.
