HELP with OStim scenes being REALLY misaligned!

Recommended Posts

Hi there, been with this issue for a while now and I'm coming here to ask you all for some help if anyone knows what to do. Ostim scenes are really misaligned (like REALLY misaligned, some meters away from each other), this issue seems to be more common indoors.

What i've already tried to do:

\-removed vera skeletons

\-revised 3ba installation (by removing smp breasts)

\-switched from smp hair to an default non-physics one

\-disabled bed usage

\-disabled player hitbox

\-activated misalignment auto fix (which broke things even more)

\-deactivated toss clothes unto ground

\-moved papyrusutil before osa/ostim and after (kept it after, as it was before i began to troubleshot it)

\-reran nemesis

\-tried with a brand new save without any settings applied

\-OAligns does nothing: when i change any setting in OAlign even by a value of 1, both characters seem to "reset" to the properly-aligned position +1 on the value that i changed, after saving or just exiting the menu they proceed to slowly move away from each other until they are very far (or even floating), and eventually stop in a random area.

Here are my loadorder and moslit (plus inis): https://modwat.ch/u/Charolas/plugins
Here are some pics of the issue at hand: https://imgur.com/a/AXIcUkJ

Any advice for the load order and modlist that it's not related to the the bug itself it's also very much welcome, been thinking of making this a proper mod guide / modlist in the future!

Please, if someone is able to help me, or just know what to do, tell me, I'll appreciate it very much!

They got a discord in their nexus page, that and usually is a hdt-smp problem, from nexus:

HDT-SMP when combined with 3BBB has been known to cause a few issues, however, they are fairly specific to your setups, so you may not experience them:
- Sometimes after a bed scene with HDT-SMP, characters may float back to the bed slowly. No known fix
- Sometimes HDT-SMP will cause characters to push each other apart at the start of the scene and leave a large misalignment gap. Misalignment detection will sometimes fix this, although it can fail in some specific setups

Even if my character has nothing smp-related applied to it? Only 3bbb with full cbpc setup and default hair...

Someone said that it might be Precision mod, because he suffered from the same issue and by deactivating it got fixed, I'm going to try this now...

I tried to disable the precision mod and it did better, although the actors are still a bit misaligned. I also disabled the anti-misalignment setting in Ostim because that sh** only makes it worse; ran to the same problem again after i restarted the game so i disabled it and it did great. there are so many little things happening in Ostim that's annoying. all its plug ins and other add ons aren't properly meshed together, like eager followers in example. aside from misalignment, I also found bug between eager followers and Ostrap.... if you have many followers and a lot of them or even a couple of them are women who'd you Strapon, they end up in interpolation with the strapon- as there could only be one strap on to be generated at a time. this would make the game crash after cumming with Ocum. they need to make each mod work well together and tighten the lid. also, the newly ported animations from Billy's dont mesh well with Ocum and Ostrap as well... if an animation happens to be a lesbian animation (without strapon) and one of the actors are using a strap- it will crash the game. lastly, Ostim sometimes cant find a bed... this problem causes eager followers doing it on a chair which doesnt have an animation in OSA- in tun, it will misalign the actors preventing them from climaxing or interrupt the excitement function.

I wish Sexlab and it's mods do better or have similar stuff. because i trust it better. i've never had any problems with it ever since.

you need to clean the scripts first then disengage precision mod and auto align. (388 *Precision.esp)

It was Precision, but it was fixed a long time ago.

I didn't have any problems since, but yeah, I know how you feel, although OStim mods perform a lot better and are a lot less cluncky, they are still unmatched mods in the Sexlab Framework, but I heard that OStim's developers are working on a newer, more complete framework than OStim, the whole issue with OStim is due to being directly attached to OSA, which it was abandoned two times in a row by its developer, but slowly they might just be able to surpass Sexlab Framework scene.
