N.Gamma Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Hello, I have the problem that in the game again and again the light or water flickers. I thought at first it was because of Dyndolod, because when I deactivate these files in MO2 the flickering stops. But now I saw a video on Youtube where someone had the problem with a 144Hz monitor and set this monitor to 60Hz to solve the problem. Since I have a 165Hz monitor I have also done this and the flickering was gone. But now I do not want to constantly change the refresh rate of my monitor, is there a setting that I can set in the ini files of Skyrim or something, so that the game is fine with 165Hz or the monitor automatically sets itself to 60Hz only for Skyrim?
spoonsinger Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 If using an Nvidia card, I think you can use Nvidia Inspector, (or specifically the Nvidia Profile Inspector component of that), to set up profiles per game. One of the options in that is 'Preferred Refresh Rate'. (Only have 60hz monitors, so I haven't had a need to use it, so your experience may be interesting).
