Very odd glitch

I'm at my wits end, tried many things but this glitch persists, certain areas of land disappear, I can be walking on normal terrain and then it cuts off, all the rocks, trees etc are still there but no ground, and when i walk out to where the ground should be I appear on land but its featureless, and then when i walk back to where the normal land was I fall from the sky, like a very long ways up and of course die when i hit the ground. and its only some areas, the other areas are normal. I don't think its missing textures, its almost as if the land part is being lifted up in the sky somehow.

sounds like your using some very old plugins from when everyone was using those buggy set of tools to mod

 

make sure none of your mods used think it was called tesvnip

I have had that same glitch.  It is a small conflict with one of your recent uploads where the terrain has been modified in some way.

Once I found which mod was causing the problem, I changed the load order until it went away.

I tried reordering my load order and then removing mods that I could think of that would cause this but i was unsuccessful, perhaps if i post my load order you could possibly spot the culprit, I don't suppose you remember which mod caused yours by chance airdance?

I had climates of tamriel but removing that didn't help.

sorry for late reply, yes I have boss and I use it, had to manually change some load orders for certain ones to work, particularly the ones BOSS didn't recognize.

Mmmhhh smells for me like some landscape edits, go into ck load only skyrim.esm place an object where the bug is (the esp will save cell/worldspace + block and subblock). load the esp created just now with all the other stuff in TES5Edit, go to the new esp and look which mod edits the same cell/worldspace + block and subblock (where the object is in, may be some wild/dirty edits) also, you can disable all the mods that edit the cell/worldspace + block and subblock and test.

ok so I went to try what you suggested Groovtama, thinking it wouldn't be too hard, but upon opening and exploring the CK I have no clue how to do what you suggested. would you mind explaining in more detail how to do it, if its not too much trouble, would be appreciated.
