Problem with Lovers Rape Slave and Lovers Voice SSP Plus

Are there any known problems with using Lovers Rape Slave and Lovers Voice SSP Plus? I ask because I recently added Lovers Voice SSP Plus v1.19 and now, no matter how many times I rape an NPC, they never become a rape slave. My current load order is:

As a test I modified the number of rapes required to turn an NPC into a slave down to 1, then tried raping an NPC multiple times, after 20 rapes they never became a rape slave. I tried targetting a different NPC, 20 rapes, no rape slave.

 

I changed my load order, moving LoversRapeSlave.esp right after LoversVoiceSSPplus.esp and repeated the test. Same 2 NPC's, 20 rapes each, neither became a rape slave.

 

Restored my load order, removed LoversVoiceSSPplus.esp and then tried the same test. Same 2 NPC's, first NPC became my rape slave after 3 rapes, the second NPC only needed 2 rapes to become my rape slave!

 

I've checked in TES4Edit and can't find any sort of conflict between LoversRapeSlave.esp and LoversVoiceSSPplus.esp. From what I see in TES4Edit, everything in LoversRapeSlave.esp is unique to that plugin, no other plugin touches anything in it!

 

So now I'm hoping that someone who knows more about these things than I do can maybe explain what's wrong.

Grizzly, your load order as posted is what I have and mine works. Perhaps in your editing you have broken the mod. I am attaching a copy of my edited version (I think I set mine to two) but remember regardless of what you set it on it is an approximate and not an exact number. I think it works off of the level of the enemy. For instance I can usually make low level bandits and such my slaves with two rapes but others seem to require more. Also some still retain hostility towards me even while being my slave (I fix this with the console command to mod disposition). Anyways maybe 1 is just too low a number.

EDIT: Upon reading your post a little closer I am now really confused...I too have the latest voiceSSP but with you removing it and things working and then adding it back and they don't.......VERY STRANGE!!!

I do know mine is working properly so maybe my version will fix you up...If not then I will have to try to figure out what I may have that you don't or visa versa.

It's confusing me as well! I originally edited the relevant script in Lovers Rape Slave a while ago and it was working fine. After I installed Lovers Voice SSP Plus v1.19 I hadn't noticed any problems until I tried turning an NPC into a rape slave, after 15 attempts I started wondering why it wasn't working. That's when I started the tests to try and find out what was happening.

 

With LoversVoiceSSPplus.esp in my load order I can't seem to make any NPC a rape slave, but once I remove LoversVoiceSSPplus.esp then I'm able to turn any NPC into a rape slave, usually in 1-4 rapes.

 

Anyways, I'll give your version a try and see what happens.

So, downloaded and installed the LoversRapeSlave.esp kindly provided by gregathit. Fired up the game, went and found the same NPC I'd been "using" for my earlier tests. After 3 rapes she was my rape slave!

 

Checked both my edited LoversRapeSlave.esp and gregathit's LoversRapeSlave.esp in TES4Edit, the ONLY difference between the two were the 3 edits that I'd made.

 

First was in xLoversRapeSlaveQuestScript to change the line:

set SlaveAverageCount to 10

to

set SlaveAverageCount to 1

The other 2 edits were the Dialog Topic responses, I simply replaced the untranslated Japanese text with some English text.

 

These edits had not caused any problems before I'd installed LoversVoiceSSPplus, so I made the exact same edits to the LoversRapeSlave.esp from gregathit. Went in-game, found the exact same NPC I'd been using as my test subject all day and after 4 rapes she became my rape slave!

 

This whole thing just doesn't make any sense! I'll see how things go when I get more time to test further, hopefully whatever the problem was has now gone away!

Grizzly I feel your pain!! At times I think there is something esle under the hood that the tools just can't see that causes these difficulties.

 

I have had similar things go south on me for one reason or another, then I come back to them weeks later and boom they work without a hitch (and visa versa).

 

If you ever do figure out what went wrong let me know just in case I bork up something similar and need to get out of a jamb....

A couple of quick questions re LoversRapeSlave: Does anyone know what the 2 untranslated Dialog Topic responses are supposed to be in english? Is it possible to remove the +1 Infamy when an NPC becomes a rape slave?

I think one of the untranslated ones is the subtitle that flashes up at the bottom of the screen telling you that they are now your slave. Which one is which....bugger me if I know!

Yeah' date=' they both are, one for a female NPC and one for a male NPC. Was hoping someone might know what each message is in english!

 

Ah well, I've changed them to:

This woman has become a slave to your desires

This man has become a slave to your desires

 

I used those after I found this line in the xLoversRapeSlaveCallback script:

MessageEx "%n has become a slave to your desires." defence

Figured that might be connected, but didn't want to just use that as is in case I ended up breaking something. So I just altered it to fit.

See post 2 if you just want the revised file. That file has been modified to allow you to slave npc's in with between 1-3 rapes. Note stronger opponents may take more but generally 1-3 should do it.

Use the CS with OBSE. You have to open it and make your changes this way or you will break things.
