Devious Toys Generator - An xEdit script

View File

This is a simple to use xEdit script that copies and converts Devious Devices 5 to a Devious Toys.esm and patches the bodyslide nifs to so that Devious Devices can be used with Toys framework.

The script was made for SE, and the following steps are for SE. But it should work for both SE and LE.

What is this not? A toybox...yet (Read here for info on what toyboxs are). I am working on a toybox now, but I do not know when it will be done. So I am releasing the xEdit script so anyone who want to make their own toyboxes don't have to wait for me.

Also, this script does nothing special to the Devices Toys. It leaves the devices as near black slates, other than all of them by default using the basic toy key.

How to use!

      1. Download and install Devious Devices

      2. Download and install Toys

      3. Download SSEEdit, this is not a normal mod so it can be installed anywhere. Somewhere you will remember would be best.

      4. Navigate to the CalienteTools\BodySlide\Shapedata folder

       5. Make a new folder called "ADTPatcher"

       6. Move the devious devices files inside of shapedata over to ADTPatcher.     MoveToADT.png.fc8d184f2797d44f0d9d81ace78a2885.png

      7. Launch SSEEdit

      8. Right click the window and click "Select None"

      9. Then select "Devious devices - Expansion.esm" and "Toys.esm" and click ok

       10. After SSEEdit is done loading all record, right click on "Devious devices - Expansion" and click "Apply script"

                         ClickApplyScript.png.ee18a6fcc6ad295fd1a68ee8fed10d71.png

          11. Then select "DeviousToysGenerator" from the drop down menu and hit ok. SelectDeviousToys.png.aa16cef08d4f224ea17208ffe22b2190.png

          12. When the script is done, Close SSEEdit, When the popup asks to save file click ok. Then move all the devious Devices shape data files back into "CalienteTools\Bodyslide\shapedata"

           13. Then delete the .esms from Devious Devices

           14. Run BodySlide and your all set!

Good Work :)

But I have a problem about the script, error when apply your script:

Exception in unit DeviousToysGenerator line 47: File Devious Toys.esm has no more space for a new FormID
Error during Applying script "DeviousToysGenerator": File Devious Toys.esm has no more space for a new FormID

Are you running it on a beta with more items than DD 5.1 by chance? I am pretty sure 5.1 already pushes ESL to it's limit almost. I'll upload one that doesnt esl flag just in case. Let the user decide.

Hello, Thanks for your reply. I'm using the DD 5.2Beta4 :)

I'm actually running the script on the DDE SSE 5.34.1 mod just to see how your script works?maybe that sounds stupid?

is there any way to reverse (undo the changes to the bodyslide project files) this script?   i didnt realize it destroys YPS link to DD frameworks (including everything else that relys on the DD esms).   i should have read more carefully about it however i am kind of screwed atm as my DD bodyslides are my own custom shapes and i dont think the NIFs will be happy with devious toys esm jsut being turned off.

any advice or anything would be appreciated @SkyLover37

I'm running 5.2 and even the non-esl script gets that same error message.

I'm more than willing to accept that this could be user error on my part. However, after installing and running the script I've found an issue. It created a Devious Toys.esm file and when I try to use items from the new esm file, there's a popup that says females can't wear them. Even the obvious things like catsuits that are designed for females. Anyone have any ideas about what's going on?

Why do my plugin have master of devious devices that I can't remove them?

Edit: I suppose it is a merge script, but AI tell me it only contain the function to copying DD device and pasting toys' scripts and perks on them which don't represent you can use DD related mods like YPS or sexlab_storydevious without 4 master plugins.
