Recommendations for mods based on my specific playstyle.

Hello, 

 

I've been away from skyrim for several years and am overwhelmed by the number of mods available. I was hoping someone could help recommend some mods with the playstyle I prefer. My playstyle is the following

- Male adventurer with female companions

- A lot of immersion mods (like frostfall, basic needs etc.)

- Tend to spend most of my time in the wilderness/dungeons/caves, basically outside of the towns.

- Tend to wander and don't like to return to fixed locations (basically nothing with a player home or something like that).

- Mainly interested in playing the regular game with sexual encounters blended in.

 

Edit: I should add that I will likely be playing the LE version unless someone can really convince me to play SE (I have both).

 

To that end I'm looking for 

- Pregnancy or lactation mod that will let me get resources off female followers (soul gems or alchemical compounds).

- Some element of punishing or recruiting enemy npcs (I think "Defeat" does this well).

- Mods that fit well with popular immersion mods (things like warmbodies for frostfall). Edit: Just saw the "campfire" mod and Frostfall 3. Anything that adds to those would be highly appreciated.

- Mods that enhance combat sex.

- Mods that enhance companions, or let me recruit companions from NPCs already in the game. (Meaning I don't like to add custom npc companions to the game unless they have really worthwhile custom content).

- Things that augment, not override.

 

 

What I'm not looking for

- Things that radically change the game's cities (like Slaverun).

- Mods that add new questlines (there are enough quests in the game thanks).

 

Even if you can recommend 1 mod from what I'm looking for thanks for your help. Otherwise...back to browsing the mod lists lol.

Try Nether's follower framework for this.  It is pretty in depth, so does take a bit to fully comprehend, but after that it's pretty handy.  Plus you can have up to 10 active companions/followers.  Two's my limit...lol

Also, it would be helpful for you to say which iteration of Skyrim you're using (LE, SE, AE...)

Thanks for the tip. I'll update my main post. I think I'm leaning towards LE because Soulgem Oven 3 is more in line with what I'm looking for. Is there a LE version of Nether's followers? It looks pretty good. 

 

Edit: NVM I see that the nexus page has links to both. By the by, what mod organizer do people use these days? I remember using nexus mod manager but I was never a big fan of it.

Mixed feelings abound.  I personally use Vortex, but others use MO2 (?), and some swear by not using any, and modding free hand.

 

So, that's really your call.  Personally, I've never had an issue with Vortex, and it does help keep things clean.  I NEED that...lol

Carry that weight is a must for carry capacity realism

 

last seed goes well with frost fall, same author, best need mod imo

 

naked defeat if you want a more realistic combat sex mod, but it’s more for a female pc.

 

don’t know if you want more realistic combat or not, but true armour plus blade and blunt, deadly combat makes the combat really grounded and deadly within the scope of vanilla if you are interested.

 

indecent exposure makes guards stop you if you are walking around naked and children flee on sight with 100 bounty on your head.

Just got sexlab working with my game now (still some crashes) but I noticed the default animations are...decent....what are some good animation mods?

Billy's animation is good, you can find all the animation under sexlab index. Theres also a mod called damsels in destress spoils of war, if you role play a male soldier you might want to check that out.

Thanks but I think damsels is SE only (I play LE) Sex Slaves for Vanilla bandit camps seems to do the same thing so I got that.

 Lieto's (sp), and Funny Biz are good ones too.

Camping mod if you dont like cities.
